In FC3, I have to request start up multiple times to get to taxi to runway. I request start up, start up then the comm option goes back to request start up before taxi to runway? Also, why is the AWACS giving me the (request picture) info while I am starting up at base? Shouldn't I have to check in on station? He doesn't shut up at base but when I get to fence in or bullseye he is quiet. Can I map a HOTAS key to request bogey dope? Thanks.

The rudder pedals on mine are buggy, I have to set a large dead zone. The feedback can crap out if it gets too hot. Other than that, it is awesome. I don't regret buying it.

Wish list It would be helpful, if when in the mission editor, the squadron plane you choose showed a thumbnail of the skin to be applied. When you download a bunch of sweet skins it is easy to lose track. Also, please develop a flyable Rockwell B1 bomber.

I am new to multiplayer but want to get started with FC3 out. If I don't have a mic, should/could I still set up teamspeak so I can hear the team?

How about when in the easy comm menu, the home base is colored. So, if I take off from Visani, when I open the comm menu it will be blue. For those of us that speed through the briefing and forget which base we are sitting at on start up. The ability to adjust labels other than editing the LUA file. Make them more dynamic than on/off. The ability to set range and symbol displayed at range. For me, labels on kills it but labels off kills me. I need some balance.

Thanks PeterP, Guess i'm screwed the only way I got it to work was at 1360x768 native PC resolution for HDMI. VGA native PC resolution is 1920x1080. It looked like crap at 768. So much for full 1080p. I don't see why VGA works and HDMI is goofy.

Hi, When I plug in a Hdmi cable to the computer and my TV/monitor it hides the Windows menu behind the bezel. If I use a VGA connection it is normal. It's a Seiki se241ts Got any tips for a fix? Thanks.

I used to set mine up facing backwards on a headset and never had a problem with the projector. I placed my ps3 cardboard box on top of my couch and taped the receiver to it. Pretty ghetto, but no problems till the sun came up and filled the room. Then it goes nuts. Very annoying.

Thanks for your help, I'm using g940 pedals but they glitch too much. Takoffs are an adventure with them and they have sent me into a bunch of spins without my input. I need something reliable for trying to tanker refuel.

Any worthwhile difference between Saitek pro flight and pro flight combat rudder pedals? Worth the extra $100 or just paying for the combat moniker? Thanks for the input.

I play a mission from the mission tab and it will just stop on me and cut to the mission recap. It says I ejected and died but that didn't happen. Do missions have time limits? I get mission success but hang around to mop up and kill everything. Then it quits and says I ejected. This was Push 5.3 mission.

Well looking at your set up, i'll take your word for it. I've cooled on the idea anyway after playing on my projector for so long and then seeing how it looks on my monitor. The monitor has a lot better detail. What kind fps do you get?

Anybody think I could use a 6 foot satellite dish as a sphere for an idome like setup? Have any better alternatives? Hi, I fly in the (removed cockpit) alt f1 view. This puts the MFD's in the left and right bottom corner of the screen. I don't have external MFD's set up yet but I would like to remove them from the screen to get a better sensation of flight. How do I do this? In the alt f1 view can I make the MFD clickable? What is the command to switch MFD sides? I have had one MFD go out and couldn't figure out how to switch sides in order to use my maverick missiles. Thanks for you input.

I read an article about the USAF delivering F18 Superhornet training simulators to the RAAF. They had a pic of a L-3 Link Simusphere. It shows a full F18 cockpit and 360 surround view. So, that peaked my home pit interest but I am wondering if that view is possible with games like DCS-A10c. Meaning if you have your home pit with working HUD and all how do you remove the aircraft cockpit from the screen? Do games have that external view as you would see sitting in the cockpit? Hope this question makes sense.

Just wondering if anyone has made an afterburner mod. I'm not a big fan of the current version. The aircraft look awesome. Then the afterburner kicks in and wrecks it for the external view. I remember someone made an awesome looking afterburner for Janes Superhornet but that was long ago.
