Has anyone else noticed how rough and bumpy all the runways have become in this version? Or is it just me?

I'm afraid your external textures, especially on the XI Sqn Typhoon are way too faded. Have a look at a real one.

I'd just like to get it connected to the game so I can use it for it's intended purpose. I don't mean to dampen your enthusiasm but what you are asking for is the ability to listen to entertainment radio channels whilst in a Combat Simulator. Why?

I am having an odd issue with SRS at the moment which may or may not be linked to a new issue introduced with DCS 2.5.6 and recent update to ESET Nod32 Antivirus. A couple of days ago ESET started giving false positive hits on several DCS .dll files and it was deleting them. I had to switch off real-time protection for the DCS root folder before it would even repair. Shortly after that I noticed that SRS would connect to the server and VOIP but not the game. I reinstalled SRS, same result (that normally fixed any issue I had with SRS in the past). Thinking there might be some issue with the AV I placed both the SRS installation directory and the entire saved games folder into the AV exceptions list so now SRS, saved games and DCS Open Beta are all excluded from real time protection. Everything runs ok except SRS will still not connect to the game. Interestingly, as I also have DCS stable (2.5.5) installed I tried that and SRS connected to the game immediately. Anybody come across this before? Anybody have any suggestions for anything I might have missed? PS. I looked at the DCS-SimpleRadio Troubleshooting Post from Ciribob's signature but I'm not sure if that is still accurate as the files it refers to in the (step 6) C:/Users//Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/Scripts folder no longer seem to follow that structure and this guide is 4 years old so a lot of development water has passed under the bridge in that time.

Further to above there was nothing else found on my PC during the scan. I tried to run a DCS repair and it failed as it couldn't write these files to the drive. I temporarily disabled real-time scanning of the DCS directory and DCS repaired ok. I then virus scanned again and got the results you can see in the attached screen grab. So, my conclusion is, since I have not updated DCS in a couple of days and since my latest Virus definitions were applied today and I downloaded fresh copies of these files via a DCS repair which were also flagged as infected, is that there is now a false positive on these 3 files by ESET Nod32. ED, is this something you need to talk to ESET about?

Guys I am posting this whilst running a full virus scan to check for further issues. Earlier tonight I ran DCS and was surprised to get 2 real-time Anti Virus hits from ESET Nod32. I have attached 2 screen shots, one from the second AV hit, the first cleared before I could react, and the second from the AV logs. It appears there were viruses in 2 of the DCS files when the were accessed. There was no issue last night and I have used ESET Nod32 alongside all of my Flight Sims for years without issue. My AV updated it's Virus definitions this afternoon, could this be a new false hit or is there a greater problem here? I've just noticed that during the scan another DCS file was flagged. "C:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F-15C\bin\F15.dll - a variant of Win64/Packed.VMProtect.KO trojan - cleaned by deleting [1]" so that is 3 x aircraft .dll files (F15, SA342 and P51B) that have issues, so far. Sac still ongoing. Is this something ED need to sort with ESET or do I have a real issue?

Just to clear up a couple of misconceptions. The RAF declared a autonomous initial A/G capability shortly after Exercise Green Flag 2008 using Tranche 1 Blk 5 with Litening 3 LDPs and Paveway 2 (1000lb bombs). It was also capable of dropping 1000lb free fall bombs. It normally self-lased but did practice buddy lasing. I know this because I was there.

Use this application https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160053 and it allows you to launch DCS in VR mode or 2 D mode, your choice. Also are you using Oculus Home?

Lost voices Since installing Viacom 2.5.15.2, or to be more precise, the release a day or two before that I have lost come of the voices you normally hear. ie. When I ask to rearm, I hear me ask but there is no voice response, only the text in the top left of the game window. Same when I ask AWACs something or when I ask to join the tanker. If I repair DCS and run without Voice Attack then all is OK. As soon as I run Voice attack with DCS I lose the voice responses and can only get them back by carrying out a repair of DCS. Before this last pair of updates everything was OK. Any ideas what might be going on here? Jim

Quick answer thanks. Is it realistic though? I ask as a military Avionics Tech who hasn't worked on US equipment since the F4. Seems very limiting in functionality to me.

When trying to use the TGP to target the AGM-65F I have noticed that the FLIR/FOV switch only controls the AGM FOV even if the TGP is the SOI. Is this a bug? I had a mixed load out of 2xAGM65Fs and GBU 38s. When the 38's were selected the FLIR/FOV Switch worked correctly but with the AGM selected it behaved as mentioned above. Note I tried to upload the track file from this very short flight but it exceeds your 5mb limit!

That only gets rid of the Chat window, not the really annoying server side info messages which VR scales to something worse then useless!
