doesn't work for me. I've pressed LALT+` a thousand times but I get no sub menu to change weapon loadouts. I played a MP mission on Friday night and every time I loaded up an A10C, it was empty of weapons. I had to finally change to an AFAC A10C (with less weapons and belly tank for greater loitering) to finally get armed up. Others on the server didn't have that problem.

i have been playing with my joysticks axis but I didn't think that could make my whole system hang. Might have a look at it.

Hi guys I'm not sure where else to post this or what exactly to post. The symptoms are this: 1. My specs E6600 3.0 o/c ATI 4890 1gig 965-DS3P mobo 2. Problems - this started up only about 2-3 weeks ago - basically, I can get into DCS World SP with no problems and actually play a game - when I end a mission (quit), my whole computer will hang. No red light, no nothing except the mouse still works. I don't get any error messages or anything. - I can't join any MP servers (I can login to DCSW without problems) without an error coming up. This doesn't happen with any other game. DCSW worked perfectly a 3 weeks ago and I haven't installed anything out of the ordinary. Any suggestions?

they certainly get quite close to a hot exhaust esp with the drogue (or whatever its called) bobbing up and down.

so the Russians just gladly handed over the specs and blueprints of their experimental new age KA50 to a comp gaming company and said 'go for your life'? Surely they've taken some creative licence in making the systems in the KA50 - they should be able to do the same for the Longbow. Who are we to know the difference to the real thing? Its a sim after all, not a type rating. An Apache is sorely needed to offset the KA50. Heck, if they don't have all the specs, IMPROVISE....watching the Discovery channel!! :thumbup:

hi guys I must be missing something. I got everything to work nicely in SP. Then I tried booting up last night and logging onto a server only to realise that the mini mouse stick isn't working! :( I had to manually slew using the keyboard commands but was cumbersome. I then went back into SP and reloaded the .lua file and jumped into a SP training mission...the mini mouse worked fine for about 5 mins then stopped working again. Any suggestions? Like I said I had everything working fine and then it just stopped.

HIGHLY recommend this one. One important step that you need to do is you have to go into options in DCS W (single player), go to A10C sim and add Joystick6 as a modifier (there's a modifier button on the bottom left of the controls list) otherwise it won't work (and you'll get red bars on the controls list). I think there's also a requirement to remap A and S or B and N but I've forgotten.

We could actually do with a whole new map...preferably somewhere with lotsa desert.

mate, I'm going through what you are but I've gotten to a position where I"m happy to go online. However, I highly recommend: 1. that you purchase a HOTAS joystick (eg. x52) 2. that you download and use a DCS A10C profile (I use SF Jack Bauer) 3. and that you learn one weapon system at a time - I've downloaded lots of single training missions from here for the A10 which helps me practice. I then jump onto youtube and watch eg. AGM65 for noobs or something, then go back into the game and do it. You'll then get the hang of what to do and which buttons do what. I can tell you, my first AGM65 kill online was AWESOME!!! It was a Tunguska as well so even better. Its about a challenge and once you beat it, you get a bigger high than flying a P51. Oh and I recommend getting FC3 - you can practice on the SU25T first.

okay so I load up a profile in SST, go into DCS and remove all X52 joystick configs and I'm good to go?

hi guys Apologies if this is elsewhere but could someone please help me understand how to use an x52 profile with DCS (for the A10C). I found and downloaded some x52 profiles off the DCS main website but am unsure how to make them work ie. I've loaded one into the profiles (SST icon was green) - do I then delete all the x52 joystick settings in DCS?

guys nothing worse than releasing a bugged product/patch to appease the masses because its delayed - what they're doing is the right thing - hold it back until you're FULLY happy with it ie. its tested and gone through the correct QA process. Otherwise, you'll have an angry mob!!

what they really need is an FA/18E Superhornet - just like what the online poll above states. Imagine: - air to air capability - air to ground capability - carrier launch/retrieval capability this is the all-in-one aircraft we've been waiting for!! I'm more of a mud mover so I'm eagerly awaiting the release of this.

same here...I personally HATE subscription gaming and absolutely refuse to do it. Thankfully my main gaming genres don't have it (yet). I don't play WoT or WoWP either.

why stop there? I'd pay good money to see a B52. Kill a grid square? How bout we carpet bomb it back into the stone age.

Funny how they actually state 'we'll be using F5's and A4's as Mig simulators' (the scene where Charlie briefs the guys in the hangar) but you only ever see A4's at the Top Gun school.
