  1. One of my RadeonPro settings will not work in v1.2.3 Its the VSync control. I've always had it set as Always On(Double VSync) and due to me having a 60Hz refresh rate I've always had a capped FPS of 30, as expected). With version 1.2.3 the fps are above this cap of 30. The VSync is not on. Cannot figure it out. Not a game bug but something to do with how RadeonPro is interacting with DCS World. The other settings work, just not this one. Regards, Milli
  2. Thank you for this mod. I've mixed and matched it with zzzpace's mod. I took out zzzspace's planewind.wav and planewindin.wav files and also the gun sound. Replaced them with the more realistic ones in this mod. Much better. I did remove the gun "repeat" sound though. That repeat sound sounds awesome when watching the gun fire from outside the plane, but its not realistic when hearing it from inside the cockpit! Wish there was a way of only hearing it when listening outside of the aircraft. So thanks for pointing me in the direction of this mod and thank you to zzzspace for his mod too. Got the best of both mods now. Regards, Milli
  3. I just downloaded it and unzipped it ok. No errors. I used 7-zip to unzip it - http://www.7-zip.org/ file: autohotkey-trackir-warthog_1-6-2013.zip no errors in the 4 files. Try clearing your internet browser cache and temp folder out before downloading again. Regards, Milli
  4. Thank you shagrat and d.burnette.
  5. When people talk of disabling the LED's in TARGET, do they mean disabling just LED's 1 to 5? Is it ok to keep the Backlight LED on? Regards, Milli
  6. If you search for those co-ordinates shown on the pilots CDU repeater, it takes you here: https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=n39+20.110+w76+25.255&ie=UTF8&ll=39.335094,-76.421065&spn=0.001587,0.003484&client=opera&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest&hnear=0x89c7fd2f920c55a5:0x8a5e5e7392765a68,%2B39%C2%B0+20'+14.12%22,+-76%C2%B0+25'+14.68%22&gl=uk&t=h&z=19  Regards, Milli
  7. Not sure if you will get this mod working in DCS World. The file A_10C_C_EDM_TEX.zip can be found here: DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Cockpit\Resources\Model\Textures\A_10C_C_EDM_TEX.zip The problem though, is the other file, A-10C-CPT-TEXTURES.zip, does not exist in DCS World. Its from the standalone A-10C simulator. Regards, Milli
  8. Yes, thank you also. Regards, Milli
  9. Thank you. Shall give it a whirl. Regards, Milli
  10. Thank you very much. Much appreciated. Regards, Milli
  11. Hi there. I'm pretty new to the A-10C and so after browsing the forum for a while I finally came across this mission. Thank god I did. Now this exceeds my expectations of this sim. Its so cool. The addition of the real voices really does make it exciting and gives it a real sense of urgency. I usually just fly around in my own little world, casually strafing stuff etc but with someone real giving instructions with a sense of urgency really gives me a kick in the ass to do the task at hand and really learn the systems of the plane. It makes it all the more 'real' feeling. Thank you for this. Really am happy I found it. I look forward to anymore that you might make. Regards, Milli
  12. Hi Vlerkies Just wondering if you actually need JoytoKey. Why not just go to Options/Controls and then choose Modifiers at the bottom left of the screen. Have a look here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=68500 Sorry if I've not understood you correctly, but I think this will be helpful to you. It'll enable you to use your paddle lever as a shift/modifier button. Save you from using the extra JoytoKey software. Regards, Milli
  13. Thank you. Will investigate. Regards, Milli
  14. Thank you for your replies. I'll go about modifying yassy's profile. Its good but i want to be able to lean forward and look at the dials instead of using a lever or button to zoom. Someone already did this. I'm sure I saw it somewhere. Regards, Milli
  15. It was a modified version of that one. The Z axis was tweaked to allow leaning in to the cockpit dials. Yassy's profile relies on a lever on a TM Warthog to zoom in and out. I know I saw it somewhere, unless I dreamt it! I'll try creating my own if I cannot find it.
  16. I seem to remember seeing a modified yassy trackir profile somewhere on this forum. It had a modified Z axis if I remember correctly. Does anyone know where the post is? I've tried searching but can't find it. Regards, Milli
  17. Thank you for your reply. Amazing sim.
  18. Hi I've recently installed DCS World and two modules: A-1OC and Black Shark 2. I've run the auto updater manually and it says this in the log file: 00000.000 INFO : === MiniLog opened UTC 2012-12-12 22:35:13 00000.001 INFO : Current version: 1.2.2.7570.13 00000.001 INFO : Checking for updates... 00000.282 INFO : Repair is available. 00000.313 INFO : === MiniLog closed. I wasn't sure what had been updated, if anything (nothing was downloaded and no install happened), so seeing the "Repair is available" info, I ran the repair utility. The log file then said this: 00000.000 INFO : === MiniLog opened UTC 2012-12-12 22:40:06 00000.001 INFO : Current version: 1.2.2.7570.13 00000.001 INFO : Checking for updates... 00000.287 INFO : Repair is available. 00000.428 INFO : Actualizing local cache... 00000.668 INFO : Downloading update: version=1.2.2.7570.13, timestamp=20121123-093850, database_id=89c2716947b95cebb8ca92870483fcbf9665ad0084b295898c6da1d96831be44 00004.090 INFO : Downloading 0 bytes in 1 objects 00004.102 INFO : Applying updates... 00004.171 INFO : === MiniLog closed. 00000.000 INFO : === MiniLog opened UTC 2012-12-12 22:40:11 00000.000 INFO : LOAD_NEW_DB_CORE "C:\Users\THEOWN~1\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\89\89c2716947b95cebb8ca92870483fcbf9665ad0084b295898c6da1d96831be44" 00000.001 INFO : LOAD_OLD_DB_CORE "F:\DCS World\autoupdate.db" 00000.001 INFO : LOAD_CONFIG "F:\DCS World\autoupdate.cfg" 00000.001 INFO : LOAD_NEW_DB_FILES "C:\Users\THEOWN~1\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\89\89c2716947b95cebb8ca92870483fcbf9665ad0084b295898c6da1d96831be44" 00000.045 INFO : LOAD_OLD_DB_FILES "F:\DCS World\autoupdate.db" 00000.087 INFO : LOAD_CACHE "C:\Users\The Owner\Saved Games\DCS\autoupdate.cache" 00000.213 INFO : DELETE "F:\DCS World\autoupdate.db" 00000.213 INFO : MOVE "C:\Users\THEOWN~1\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\89\89c2716947b95cebb8ca92870483fcbf9665ad0084b295898c6da1d96831be44" -> "F:\DCS World\autoupdate.db" 00000.214 INFO : Using copy-then-delete fallback 00000.214 INFO : COPY "C:\Users\THEOWN~1\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\89\89c2716947b95cebb8ca92870483fcbf9665ad0084b295898c6da1d96831be44" -> "F:\DCS World\autoupdate.db" 00000.302 INFO : DELETE "C:\Users\THEOWN~1\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\89\89c2716947b95cebb8ca92870483fcbf9665ad0084b295898c6da1d96831be44" 00000.302 INFO : RMDIR "C:\Users\THEOWN~1\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\89" 00000.533 INFO : SAVE_CACHE "C:\Users\The Owner\Saved Games\DCS\autoupdate.cache" 00000.808 INFO : SETUP found 3 commands 00000.808 INFO : SETUP skipped "distr/vcredist_x64.exe" 00000.808 INFO : SETUP skipped "distr/vc2010redist_x64.exe" 00000.808 INFO : SETUP skipped "distr/DirectX/DXSETUP.exe" 00002.645 INFO : === MiniLog closed. 00000.000 INFO : === MiniLog opened UTC 2012-12-12 22:40:14 00000.000 INFO : LAUNCH found 1 commands 00000.001 INFO : LAUNCH started "F:\DCS World\bin/Launcher.exe" 00000.001 INFO : === MiniLog closed. A dialog box came up and said an update had been successfully installed. If I run the Auto updater again, the whole process is repeated over with the same current version number 1.2.2.7570.13) So what I would like to know is, has my DCS World been updated to the very latest version or is there something wrong happening? My DCS.exe file says it is file version 1.2.2.7570 dated 23/11/2012 04.21 Thanks, Chris

  20. Hi I've accidentally removed two of the mission generator templates from the mission editor. The ones I removed are "Red Offensive - Very Small 1" and "Red Defensive - Very Small 1" Is there a way of getting these back? I'm assuming they haven't been deleted from the hard drive simply because I removed them from the mission templates list. Regards, Chris
  21. Hello everyone. I've had my TM Warthog for about a couple of weeks now. No problems so far. I just wanted to know what the term "brick" or "bricking" means? I've seen it mentioned in a few threads now. Could someone please explain it? Also, I have been leaving my throttle and stick plugged in when I power my computer off and on. Is this not advised? I have had no problems so far. Should I unplug the usb connections before turning my computer off and on? Would this not cause issues with windows (win7 64bit here) detecting "new" hardware etc each time I plug the devices in? Any advise would be appreciated. Regards, Chris
  22. Thanks for the answers. And yes, I was talking about the TM Warthog. I forgot to mention that  Regards, Chris
  23. Hi What is the difference between (if any) the "autopilot engage/disengage" button on the bottom right of the throttle baseplate and the red button on the far side of the left throttle? They both have the same function name "Autopilot engage/disengage" Can I simply reprogram the latter one for something else and just use the button on the base plate for autopilot engagement, with no loss of overall functionality of the HOTAS system? Regards, Chris
