That's a good point you make. I cannot see my head when I look down no, but I don't see a big black hole where my head is suppose to be either :)

Looking for comprehensive dumb bombing guides
Dudester22 replied to JayPee's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Sorry, Just messing about. It's just a guy with the same name as you shot me down on a weapons training server last week in an A10C. I was also in an A10C . -
DCS 1.2.7 Open Beta - Preliminary Changelog
Dudester22 replied to Mike Busutil's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Multiplayer fixed. New map. Mig & F-18. Now that would breath new life life into this game. Have to say though, I cannot believe after all this time that we are still waiting for a Multiplayer fix and new Map. -
Looking for comprehensive dumb bombing guides

Just mind you don't use them on a weapons training server and team kill other players. I'm sure there will be a guide knocking about somewhere. -
DCS 1.2.7 Open Beta - Preliminary Changelog
Dudester22 replied to Mike Busutil's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
I just had a rethink about how good this will be. While it will be good for some bug detection, how will it help with server crashes? Isn't it already well know that these crashes occur after a number of players connect to a server? If this is the case, then doesn't this already point to a problem with the number of players connecting? And how will lots of players sending a track file who all crash on one server help? I'm just curious, is it one person crashing the servers or the amount? Hope they get this bug squashed soon. -
Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas Slew Control?
Dudester22 replied to Rungaul's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Pushing it in is just another button press I think. I just purchased one and to slew I just lightly move it around with my finger, I don't push it in and it doesn't roll for me. -
DCSWorld, but how does this have anything to do with my head missing?

Who needs expensive cockpit when you have wood lol.

Probably more money then a real life jet. -

Dudester22 replied to Dudester22's topic in Home Cockpits
Damn, I am going to have to rethink my cockpit design now. Now where did I put those sheets of metal and my welder, I'm not sure I can get wood to bend like that. :) Come on now, it was my attempt at a joke lol. Don't try to burn me and go all serious on me now. -
Why anyone interested in this Sim wouldn't purchase Edge is beyond me, so I cannot even answer that question. But I hope it is available to buy, it is isn't it?

DCS 1.2.7 Open Beta - Preliminary Changelog
Dudester22 replied to Mike Busutil's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Yeah, like the Nevada release. For me the multiplayer fixes and that map is what I want. So annoying to start the A10C and have to do it all again because of a crash. -
When I click on the Jettison canopy lever in the cockpit doesn't do anything? Can someone tell me what I am suppose to do with it/ Like click, scroll, or do something else on it? Also, where is the eject lever because I don't see it anywhere and am i suppose to click on that or something Thanks!

DCS 1.2.7 Open Beta - Preliminary Changelog
Dudester22 replied to Mike Busutil's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Hopefully great news for Multiplayer fix in the next patch? Improved network play stability. Track file are now automatically created when a crash is detected. In order to help the team find and correct MP issues that we are not always in position to produce during testing, 1.2.7 introduces the writing of tracks even when the game crashes. These tracks can be provided to the testers and developers in order to reproduce the conditions that caused the crash and correct it. This feature is a big step towards solving possible future and current problems that are often difficult to hunt down. When playing on a server and you experience a crash, put up an MP crash post and include that track in your post. Same thing goes for server owners. Lets hope people send in there crash tracks so multiplayer can be fixed once and for all. -
So does this mean there is no way of telling until it's complete? So it uses 2 cores? Does it take your Graphics Card more into account and use the Graphics Card more?

Who needs expensive cockpit when you have wood and black paint lol. Made this in 3 hours and it's so much better with the keyboard up infront of you like that. My next task is to make a UFC with the keyboard using a modifier key on my TM Hotas :)

Nevada, is it geared towards better performance? Nevada, is it geared towards better performance? Like using all four cores of a quad core? Or is it just a new map to replace the old with bad performance when you add lots of AI? I have read all about it and saw that it's suppose to add more things to the landscape, but I am just curious to know what the performance is going to be like. I also wish it would hurry up and get released because I know this old map like I know my own back garden.

How do i save my control config and settings?

Whats this red bar in control options?
Dudester22 replied to Dudester22's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Sorted it. Thanks! -
I just setup the A10, in the game controls and I really don't want to ever have to go about messing with all that again. So how do I go about saving my control config and my game settings if possible? Things like Graphic settings ect. The main one I want is the control config though because it took me a lot of time. since I have some switches mapped to my keyboard. Thanks!

I changed my mind already lol. Stupidly, I took it out of the box, placed it on the desk and then packed it away to be send back. However, after posting on here, I then thought. I'll give it another go and actually play the game with it this time lol. To be honest I'm glad I did because I love it and why I thought the buttons and switched were to stiff I don't know. I think it's because my credit card is getting a bit to much spent on it and I was trying to convince myself this wasn't upto scratch lol. Oh well another amount of money I'll have to pay back someday because I'm keeping it :)

Here's the other thing and I am wondering if I should return it now. I got the stick and throttle from Amazon for £239.99 and it's just gone up to £307 now. Does anyone else like the stiffness of the buttons and switches? Would I be mad to send it back now I have it for this price? I just cannot make my mind up on the thing to be honest. The other dilema is that Amazon have told me it has a six month warranty? Surly, not for something this expensive? Do you reckon ThrustMaster have a warranty when the Amazon runs out?
