I think the TDC axis is not implemented and what you have here is only some kind of left-over (just like left/right throttle axis). see this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2614858&postcount=6

I think that list exist somewhere. In the Mirage-2000 thread there was a lot of talk about what would work and what would not. The manual also gives hints about missing stuff. I agree this data is quite scattered.

Dude I can't agree more. I'm saddened when I read aggressive comments like some new posters that have no shame saying "Whaat, are they asking XX bucks for that! Laaaaame". Hopefully the devs will have their filters ON. Way to go guys!

It seems the CCRP piper is not very accurate and also drifting, which makes an accurate dumb bomb delivery difficult - not really a surprise I might say given the A/C's primary mission. I guess Mk82 delivery should be limited to area effect (soft targets or buildings). For accurate bombing => GBU-12 and buddy lasing. A-G gun piper bug has been reported already. Good to know!

The instant action has two types Mk82 loaded (regular on the back then retared), I can't fire the regular ones. Computer shows BF1 (Bombe Freinée I guess) but never BL1 (Bombe Lisse). Instant action should have a valid loadout...

Function with different key assignment depending on category
PiedDroit replied to PiedDroit's topic in Resolved Bugs
Ok, understood. "M" Shouldn't be listed as Armament Panel (PCA) then - EDIT: I suppose it's a name conflict, when selecting category "HOTAS", it is correctly listed, maybe it should be renamed "Magic II Select (HOTAS)". Good find, I remapped it to RCtrl + M and it worked! It toggles between gun and Magic. Not switching the radar range though. -
My bad, sorry for wasting your time.

No biggie, put that on the back burner

It seems that some parts of the aircraft (belly) are transparent. When damaged I can see the sky through the aircraft. See screenshot. I also attach the track just in case you can use it to reproduce, just wait until I take a missile (a couple of minutes then pause immediately). Weird damage.trk

Hello, I have the same kind of issue, I'm using the PPI (default settings), the piper is not that difficult to move actually, as long as you can tap the keyboard quickly (I get a half cross arm length accuracy). However using a joystick makes tapping much more difficult and lead to wider piper movement. I don't know what is the real one's sensitivity though, so I can't really tell it's a bug or not, maybe it's not meant to be used that way and the user should zoom more to be able to accurately select a target (?).

This switch does not seem to work, when I set it to right (D) the left (G) missile stays selected and fires first. Also, I didn't find how to map this button in the controls (I want to use it because otherwise missiles are always fired left then right).

Thanks a bunch for this X-mas release!

Mmmm Harrier, I so agree with you guys, this aircraft is awesome.

I can think of a workaround for regular buildings (that are already on the map) which is to put a static, enemy (or neutral if possible) unit (soft vehicle or infantry or even a small enemy building) beside or on top of the building of interest. When that target is destroyed, you can consider this building destroyed (via trigger). Maybe someone already tested that.

It's interesting how we can see two different type of opinions emerge, post after post. What's funny is both are soo right :) (A) Yes, the F-16 is super iconic and it would be super awesome to have it available in DCS. (B) But wait! There's a F/A-18C on the way, that is doing pretty much what a F-16C does (more or less), and there are plenty other aircraft that could use some love. I'm more a (B) guy at the moment but that could change in the future :D No need to answer (A) to that post, I know, I agree fully! It will come sooner or later I guess.

I think this one's correct, the safe altitude cue is below and moves upwards when you decrease altitude. It logically represents a safe level and you should stay above it (i.e. keep FPM above the safe altitude cue) - when you're below it (i.e. the safe altitude cue is above the FPM), then you're too low. "DO NOT release the bombs if the safe altitude cue intersect the FPM or [the safe altitude cue] is above it [the FPM]"

TrackIR Software 5.3.0 Released
PiedDroit replied to Ripcord03's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thanks for the heads up  I uninstalled the previous trackIR software, was 5.2 something (latest version as of 6 month ago) before installing the 5.3, my profiles worked fine... Note them down anyway, just in case... -
There's plenty of info on the web if you want a definitive answer ;) https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pr%C3%A9fixes_du_syst%C3%A8me_international_d'unit%C3%A9s https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_prefix

What do you want to achieve? If you want to record stuff, Tacview software is the way to go. As for the 3D model, I don't know. I don't think it will be a big deal to add it (it should be possible to do it by fiddling in the .lua files). http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=148716

Quick correction on the manual page 104 (pdf page 105), Super 530D is not a "beam rider" (a beam rider has sensors on the back of the missile and does not rely on reflected energy, example are: Vikhr, Grom, RS-2US) :P Otherwise, very cool, I'm impatient to see the missing info.

Thanks Zeus!:cheer3nc:

Thanks a lot for the info! Those charts don't come with a cheat sheet
