  1. I have not bound the DCS Voice buttons, I have bound the radio buttons (Radio1/Radio2/ICS). With each press the menu for the pressed radio appears (top right), second press disappears (actually any button). Nevertheless, I added --AAR Communications {down = iCommandPlaneRefuelingReadyPreContact, name = ('A/A refueling - "Ready for precontact"radio call'), category = ('Communications')}, to my default.lua in the keyboard section of the F14B pilot. Now, I have Tanker on RIO Radio (Radio2). I press the radio transmit button once (and let the button go, so no radio is transmitting). I can then push the bound button on my hotas (of the above item in my modified config) and the tanker receives the call. If I push the Radio 1 button because I want to say something on there (SRS is bound there, too), I let go of the button (no transmission) and then push the button on the hotas with "Ready precontact", the call is transmitted via Radio 1. That's what I meant, that the last radio that transmitted something is being selected as the "active" radio. It does this also on other aircraft, like the Hornet or the Viper. Don't know if I explained it well enough...
  2. Hi - couldn't respond earlier. Yeah - I usually let Jester tune his radio to the tanker, because he knows all the frequencies. I actually didn't tune the pilot radio to the tanker frequency. Of course prior to calling "ready pre contact" I was sure to select the right radio to transmit (as you know in DCS usually the last used radio is the active one for the menu items). Thank you for resolving this!
  3. Tried AAR with an 135MPRS tanker and the the new keybind on my HOTAS. Although the pilot said "Ready Pre Contact", the tanker didn't receive it. When clicking on the corresponding menu item in the radio menu with the mouse, I was able to get fuel. In my today session, this was reproducable...
  4. Hotfix fixed my problems Thank you!
  5. Thank you for the hotfix. Solved my problems!
  6. No - it crashes every time, B and A version, even without touching chaff and flares if I start from the boat. It is always "HeatblurDCSBase.dll". Shore start does not seem affected. I tried very many different ways and also made a slow repair and deleted all extra files. The problem persists. And I don't touch chaff and/or flares.
  7. F14B and F14A (not early) crash on startup on the boat. Even if I do the RIO alignement (as human) or let jester do the whole part in the backseat. Startup on shore is not affected and works. As well as flying to a boat and trapping there. Deinstalled all mods beforehand and repaired DCS thoroughly in slow mode and even let DCS delete all extra files. Problem persists and is reproducable.
  8. Nice try. But I bet it won't be made. Since this is a certain model and not a prototype plane we got from Heatblur. Same with Eagle Dynamics Modules. A certain model at a certain point in time. No prototype. But it's ok. The B(U) will be fine I really hoped it would rather be sooner than later.
  9. NTTR is one of my favorite maps ever. Why? Because it's where Airforce and Navy train... And I.
  10. so ... will the F14B(U) be part of the F14A/B module or be a seperate, new module to purchase? Until now I was more under the impression, that it will be an addition to the already sold F14A/B module (like the Early A).
  11. Really? No valid link to the official paintkit? Would be really awesome if the file would be made available again.
  12. I fly VR and use MSAA 4x. I'd recommend MSAA nearly always over DLSS. Only when I do not need to be spotting a plane and maybe need additional FPS, I have a preset with DLSS. In all cases where you need to be spotting anything, MSAA is superior to DLSS in my opinion. ...and spotting dots to 2px.
  13. It does. But ... you have to understand how a tape player worked/works. The B-Side is only playable after the A-Side is at the end, or you would have to switch sides and rewind the whole tape (or fast forward the A-Side). Try this: Listen to one track on the A-Side, then press STOP, then press SWITCH SIDE and then press PLAY. You _should_ hear the last track of the B-Side (if there are 10 tracks on your B-Side). Let me assure you, it works. I did it with my Tomcat as well.
  14. I had a lot of HOTAS. X52, X56, and Thrustmaster Warthog. All broke. X52 und X56 very soon, and a short while ago the Warthog - the 4th I had! I switched to WinWing a while ago. Bought the SuperTaurus - excellent and bought the F15EX and the F16EX Throttles. I know what the OP means, but in no means is this any setback for me. Their hardware is just excellent and way better than all my old stuff. For Stick bases I use VIRPIL bases and Thrustmaster/VIPRIL Grips. These are excellent as well. And of course the collective from VIRPIL is awesome. If someone askes me for a serious HOTAS (not a 'I want to try out flying and do not want to spend money'), I can recommend WinWing any time! Excellent and durable hardware for an excellent price!
  15. ...and that's why I ordered a second one to have a spare in case of need!
