  1. Hardcore, First. Thanks for this script. Very awesome! But I'm having an issue where the "Static Respawn Test" only seems to work if the Trigger "MOOSE Load" exist. But I do not see the Moose.lua. Is it imbedded into the mission file you provided? As a result, using the "Static Respawn Test" doesn't work on my mission despite having the correct naming. I'm I missing something to get this to work on my mission? Also, launching your mission file and removing the "Moose Load" reference breaks the "Static Respawn Test".
  2. Wow. It's amazing how long a problem could exist and not receive any support for years. Almost a decade. It's like the devs created the tools for us but said, "Figure it out yourselves, you bastards."
  3. how do I delete/deactivate a static object? I have objects on my carrier that are static. Works great. But I want the objects to turn off after the F-18 has left the area. But I do not see a Action to delete/deactivate the static mesh. Only to activate it in the trigger setup. Anyone know a solution to this?

  5. But I'm actually looking for a way to tell the Stennis to be quiet. I have a mission that requires radio silence and with the Stennis yapping, it breaks that immersion. I know how to set options on a Group to use radio silence, but it doesn't seem like its possible on the Stennis. is that accurate?
  6. How can I set the Stennis to not use radio? I'm creating a custom mission with my own audio for takeoffs, etc. And I would like to silence Stennis' default chatter. Any suggestions?
  7. How do I find the target's correct elevation so I can manually enter this information once the mission is launched?
  8. I'm trying to set a waypoint exactly where a target is so my AUTO bomb mode in my F-18 will drop it on the ground target. Problem is, my waypoint can not go lower than 98 feet. As a result, when I turn my waypoint into a TGT, the target is 98 below where my bomb are expecting to impact, thus over shooting with AUTO mode. Anyway to force my bombs to be at 0 feet? The waypoint is set to AGL. Thanks!

  10. I'm trying to understand the flag system and how it relates to the mission being a success or failure. Lets say the objective is to destroy a command center. So I create a Trigger event that if the Command Center is destroyed, the FLAG ADDS 70 points. Landing back at base without damage adds 30 points. Thus, 100 points triggers a Mission Success? Any source I can read or watch on how the Trigger flags work? Thanks!

  12. Do you know what keyboard shortcut the "unlock button" is? I dont have a HOTAS joystick. Government shutdown took my joystick out of my F-18.
  13. I've tried switching CCIP prior to enabling my waypoint to TGT. The problem is, once you've set your waypoint to TGT, you can not select CCIP or MAN. You're stuck in AUTO mode. Unless you know a work around? It would be awesome if someone from Eagle D could reply and acknowledge if this is a bug or not. I'm trying to resolve this issue and Im not sure if Im doing something wrong or if its out of my control. I can't complete this mission because I keep dropping DUDs when the warhead should be live!
  14. His jerkiness is quite severe. But when he pulls up slightly and move down, his target position moves. Mine does the same thing. But I also have DUD even though I should not. I took a screenshot. What do you think Im doing wrong? Why do I have a DUD?
  15. I'm on a mission where my waypoint is a target location. I set my waypoint to TGT, works. Turned on A-G and Master arm on. Stores set to my Mk-83s, Bombing to AUTO, NOSE, and INST. Great. Here is the problem: the TGT in my HUD is moving around so Im not exactly sure where the target is and DUD randomly pops up in my HUD. It's on and off depending on my pitch. What the hell is happening?
  16. I have three extra fuel tanks, is it possible to set my aircraft to only burn external fuel first so I can jettison them when they're empty?
  17. How do I get the EW info to display on the HUD? I'm trying to use the HARM but I can't get EW info on my HUD. Thanks Nevermind, found the "HUD" button on the EW page.
  18. When following waypoints, I manually adjust my HDG to the heading of my next waypoint and AUTO pilot is set to HSEL. Is it possible to have my HDG automatically change to my current waypoint heading? Or do I have to manually update it everytime I reach a waypoint?
  19. All this time I've been twisting that ECM knob in front of my flight stick pretending it's making a difference. I'm surprised ECM is not higher on the priority list. I would rather have a working ECM over the HARM missile. With ECM, SAM threats are significantly reduced. Explains why everyone has been getting shot down easily and they didn't understand why.
  20. Last June it was mentioned the ECM modes will be available at a later date. Has this been enabled yet?
  21. When firing an Aim-120, I can switch targets once the missile has been fired. Fire-And-Forget. Can I do the same when firing a Aim-7? Or do I need to maintain a lock until the target has been hit or missed?
  22. Wags, So I just tested this. As soon as the mission starts you're traveling at about 320 knotts with the enemy heading straight to you. If you maintain this speed, alt, and course you have exactly 120 seconds before the bandits are 1nm from you. But you probably want to be ready by the time they're 20nm from you. Yes, that's enough time to prepare for some people, but not everyone wants to start the engagement at 320 knotts, and accelerating only means you have far less time to prepare for the engagement and obtain a situation awareness. So, yes. I really don't see why it's a problem having additional time to setup the engagement.
  23. I have the same complaint as the OP. You literally wake-up just a few miles from the bandits with your Countermeasures not properly configured or any other settings the way you want it. The bandit is literally about 5 miles from me by the time I'm ready to engage. Hell, I would have loved if this was a cold-start or runway-start mission. I really hate jumping into battle with my targets about to pass me by.
  24. Yes, this is more like what im looking for. Im glad to hear ED is working on it. Even if its single player. Hoping it includes multiplayer options as well. Thanks for the response that is very informative.
  25. Is the mission you linked user created? Is it specific for a certain aircraft? Then no, what you are providing is not what im talking about. Im talking about a dynamic coop system that does not require user made missions and easy setup.
