  1. Thanks guys!
  2. Thanks. So there isn't an official one included with the simulation? If not, I find that kinda odd. I haven't gone through all 9 pages of that sticky yet......
  3. Is there a way to "center" the sensors such as HUD targeting box, TGP Diamond, Maverick crosshairs, and Maverick Wagon Wheel? I can't seem to find a key binding for it. Thanks.
  4. Folks, I can't seem to find this anywhere. Where is it hidden? Thanks.
  5. So is a joystick Apples. Seriously, don't you have anything better to do? Now, go away and stay far from my threads.
  6. I want to be able to use my trim wheels on the G940 with DCS A10-C but there are no trim actions defined under Axis Commands. FC2 has trim defined in it's axis commands so I wonder why A10-C does not have this option. Any ideas on how I can use my trim wheels on G940 to trim the A-10C? Thanks.
  7. I have seen this problem after installing beta tir software but I can 't consistently reproduce it...
  8. CLUTTER/BUSHES

I have it set to 500m now and I haven't seen any degradation in framerate. I have win 7 64 and i920 oc'ed to 3.8 ghz with 6 gigs ram, and a gtx280 nvidia card......
  9. Thanks Scooternutz. It looks like the beta 5.1 version fixed the problem. The beta TrackIR software is apparently required for the 64 bit executable of A-10C. Of course this isn't documented anywhere so I was pulling my hair out.
  10. First of all Apples, I don't care if it's been discussed 20 times. The point is that this should be documented in a readme. Wading through forums are optional, and should not be a requirement to get this sim to run properly. Also, if you have nothing to help answer the question, spare the patronizing responses. Thanks.
  11. CLUTTER/BUSHES. This slider adjusts the range from the camera at which grass/bushes are rendered on the ground. So if I understand correctly, a setting of 0 will turn clutter bushes off and best eye candy is achieved with the setting of 500m? Thanks.
  12. Ok, so I now found a 5.1 beta version on naturalpoint website. Hope this will fix the problem. If it does, I wish this kind of stuff would be documented in a readme or something.
  13. Working on all other sims including BS and FC2 but not for DCS. I have the latest software and game list downloaded in my TIR application. Anyone have similar issue?
  14. Yes, that's what Andrew said and it makes sense.
  15. Thanks Andrew. I didn't know by default 64 bit programs will install into program files. Well, as long as this is normal, I go with it. Cheers!
  16. Well, this doesn't really answer my question I'm afraid. I have Win 7 64 bit so my thought is that it should try to install into the Program Files (x86) folder but instead, unlike BS and FC2, it's trying to install to the plain vanilla Program files. At what point does the installer ask if you want 32 bit or 64 bit version installed?
  17. BS by default installed into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50 FC2 by default installed into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2 However, the A-10C is trying to install into: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C Any reason whey ED decided to use C:\Program Files\..... as default for A-10C instead of C:\Program Files (x86) like the other two sims? Also, does the installer automatically detect 64 bit OS and install the 64 version? Thanks.
  18. thanks buddy.
  19. Folks, Do I replace the existing files or do I place the folder called Georgian Oil War - 1.1 into the Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Missions\Campaigns folder as a subdirectory ? Thanks.
  20. Too bad. I get over 50 fps constantly with v-synch on at 60 hz. ROF is smooth and has great atmosphere.
  21. I like Rise of Flight. Very detailed yet doesn't require a 400 page manual.
  22. lol voila. why not though, good idea!
  23. These are high quality planes definately underpriced for it's details and fidelity.
  24. I just installed it as admin. I have UAC off on my machine. Then I also installed all the other stuff that comes on the CD like visual c++, net3.5 etc. Works like a charm. However, I hear that for Win 7, you need at least a quad core becaues of the way Win 7 does multi-core processing. If you have dual core, stick with XP.
  25. STP Dragon, just wanted to say thanks for the missions. Started flying them recently and having great fun with it. I like the supporting documentation too as I refer to them when I get stuck. Cheers!
