  1. High fidelity? LOL. A couple of extra graphics details on the pylons on the wingman aircraft isn't going to eat up all my graphics memory. The "answer" doesn't make logical sense really.
  2. What are there a bunch of grade school kids here? The question is obvious. Why the difference...
  3. Combatace points out a legitimate observation I think and I guess nobody has any good anwsers except some smart alec remarks.
  4. Forlan and Uruguay, great great job despite the loss today.
  5. It shows how good the physics engine is. I can see by the windsock that the wind is set to hurricane settings. Steady strong wind with no turbulence will allow light planes (like these WWI planes) to do exactly what it's doing in the video.
  6. Here you go, specs. I have win7 64 and runs much smooother than DCS does. Excellent simulation, ROF. Operating System Windows® XP / Vista CPU Intel® Core™2 Duo 2.4 GHz RAM 2 Gb Free Hard Drive space 6 Gb Joystick Direct X 9.0 compatible joystick Internet Connection 256 Kb/s (required) Graphics Card 512 Mb, GeForce 8800GT/Radeon HD3500 Sound Card DirectX 9.0c compatible Supported Operating Systems Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher Windows Vista Service Pack 1
  7. Paraguay can still hold their head up as they've done a super job to get to the quarterfinals.
  8. Two thumbs up Netherlands!
  9. Too bad the rudder trim isn't coded properly. Hopefully it will be fixed in next patch.
  10. Looks like the only way the rudder trim works "properly" is to disable force feedback in Producer.cfg and using central trim method. Furthermore, when force feedback is enabled in producer.cfg, selecting central trimming method makes no difference at all. In fact, it seems like enabling force feedback puts the trim function in non-central mode regardless of what is selected in options menu.
  11. Thanks guys. So only the name of the executable matters and not the path. That answers my question.
  12. No same settings. I think the other thread answered my question. Looks like Nvidia control panel only cares about the name of the executable and not the path to the executable so I'm set I think. Thanks!
  13. I seem to have found another serious issue with trim and the G940 (rudders). I notice that when trimming yaw that there is a spike in the yaw when the trim button is released. For example: 1. I input the amount of yaw I want to trim using rudders, 2. I press the trim button then release 3. When trim is released, there is a spike in the yaw momentarily This seems to happen in both "central trimming mode" as well as without. Anyone else confirm this? I do have force feedback enabled (although this shouldn't affect my rudders). Thanks.
  14. which simulator.exe did you use? BS or Lockon? Thanks.
  15. Hello, as this question involves both sims, I'm posting on both forums. Here is my question: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=929929#post929929 Thanks!
  16. I'm not sure if I need to post this in DCS or Lock On forum as my question involves both. In order to enable antialiasing on BS and LO, I must use the Nvidia control panel and add the executable for simulator.exe. However, because both BS and LO uses an executable named simulator.exe, whenever I configure one in Nvidia control panel, it overrides the other. So, the question is how do I add each simulator.exe (one from BS and the other from FC) in the Nvidia control panel? Is there a way to do this so that I can get antialiasing working on both sims? Thanks.
  17. It's not fixed. I think Logitech dropped the ball on that one.
  18. Can't believe Spain lost! North Korea not bad against fifa #1 yesterday.....
  19. S Korea was very organized and focused. The Greeks didn't seem like they cared.
  20. Yes, I do understand what you mean and in that sense you're right, it is unrealistic. However, one can argue that the button placement on the G940 isn't like the real Shark stick or the stick is too short so therefore it's unrealistic.....I mean, there are many things about a PC cockpit that is unrealistic. Besides, the G940 is the ONLY FF joystick that holds the position of the stick with the trim function as far as I know and that is more realistic than anything else out there (try to get a CH or Saitek to do that). The only major flaw I see with the G940 today is the reversal bug. Otherwise, it's a top notch system. Hopefully, ED will fix the "centering force while trim pressed" issue in their next release. It's not a Logitech issue.....
  21. So what happens if you let go of the stick in the real shark while holding the trim button? Would it slop to one side? Also, I just click the trim button, not hold it down. What do you mean by hold it down? Is holding it down more realistic? You seem to know realism pretty well.
  22. Oh, another important thing is that your guns can't be set to programmed mode if you don't have the SPPU-22-1 gunpods in loadout.
  23. My understanding is that the stick should remain in the position where it was when the trim is pressed. This is what it does with the tape trick.
  24. It is if you put a tape to cover the optical sensor on the stick. Works perfectly.
