Can anybody share their Track IR profile? Mine is extremely annoying when I try to helmet sight cannon run an enemy convoy as it just floats all over the place. Also, is Track IR 5 better than Track IR 4 Pro? Mine is ancient (and not actually mine, it's borrowed) and the proclip is broken. I cannot look more than 25 degree left without it losing sight of the LEDs.

I don't want to void any warranties ;) Would a little WD-40 on the steel ball work? Mine seems to get more and more sticky as it collects dust on that.

So does this mean we can continue using them the new 1.2 world, or will you be releasing a new edition?

Wow. How did you learn how to do all that wiring? I really want to own a pit, but have no electrical smarts. I have moolah, but not the smarts. Oh, how much did it cost you so far?

Couple things I would like to comment on. First up: World. This is a genius idea, and I am very excited to have all DCS games past present and future in one client. Will make multiplayer alot more interesting with more roles becoming available as well (which is already amazing in the beta with the Mustang and A-10, can't fly KA-50 due to upgrade key dealio) Second: I worry about the future modules. I can't help but thinking that the quality of aircraft coming will be severely reduced. I for one started using DCS products because of their unrivaled realism and flight models. Third parties may not get the military contracts and all the small details about aircraft correct. DCS A-10 was such a hit because ED worked closely with the US Military. Some of these third parties are coming from FSX which is nothing comparable to DCS. Third and Forth: Where is this June patch/release of CA beta? It is July, and I haven't seen any posts at all on the status. If something is taking a bit longer, I would like to stay informed rather than left in the dark pressing F5 every hour. Sorry for it being a bit of a rant. Fly safe :pilotfly:

The KA-50's 30mm is not like the A-10's. You will have to use something with a bit more... explosive power. ;)

Eagle Dynamics is European correct? Isn't their release day Thursday for all media? Kinda like Tuesday is the USA's release day? Could this mean today is the big day?

What is the yellow paddle used for on the stick? Below the picky button? I didn't know what it should be mapped as so I have it set for NVG.

I highly doubt ED will put infantry into their World. But in the armor sense, I can deffinatly see CA becoming similar to SB in quality. Specially once third party developers start developing.

How would I go about getting fighters to take off in formation? Is this possible?

I don't know what everybody is talking about this "brick TM" thing. Could somebody elighten me?

I absolutely love mine. My left engine throttle moves a bit side to side, but works just fine. Also makes KA-50 easier with all the buttons and switches I can remap. The stick is so dang smooth, my aim has gotten 300% better since retiring my X52

I am an ATC Associate at the University of North Dakota. All I can tell you is that the F-15's and F-18's we practice with stay at full speed until turning their base leg and begining their decsent. At our simulated airport they are 2000' agl, and slow from their 500+ airspeed from initial to base to their approach speed by the time they are short final. I've tried that in the A-10 sim and full speed until about halfway through base leg works just great.

Ground looks fine to me. I'm too busy shooting things and dodging AA to notice bad textures :pilotfly:
