I'm sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find it.... Is it possible to send an email notification to the open beta testers/players when a new release becomes available? As much as I love reading the DCS forums, my constant checking for beta updates is driving my fiancé mad as I keep trying and failing to multitask between checking and talking with her :) Keep up the good work ED!!!

Definitely option one. It's frustrating learning something new then the mission ends so you cannot practice.

I have a similar sound issue to others mentioned here.... so far I have noted that the Gau-8 doesn't sound anything like what others have shown on Yotube, it sounds more like something from an 80's arcade game. Neither of the VHF radios need Squelching when I turn them on and Im not hearing any ATC voices, the text is their but no sound. I have tried updating DX9 as per link provided but this does not change anything. Win7 64bit C2D e6300 @ 2.6Ghz 2gig PC6400 NVidia GTS250 Sound - onboard 5.1 Asus P5B Deluxe mobo

Could we also make the video's iPhone friendly on YouTube so we can use that as an alternative to a Laptop which Im sure not everyone will have access to?

Is the FC1 manual going to be updated for FC2? i.e is it worth waiting for FC2 to come out before buying the current manual because there will be "updates" to it?

Well I fixed it..... went out and bought a nVidia card. ATI should sort their legacy product drivers instead of shunning us. Im never buying ATI again, what a pain in the A$$!

White screen problem solved after driver changes as above and re-install of BS....... next problem however, is flickering screen when mousing over any menu buttons etc in full screen mode. In-game play performance is not affected. Checked AI is off, tried applying full screen from the options menu in game and via options.cfg with NP++ but neither makes any difference. Any idea's? I have saved my dxdiag and just need to know who it needs sending to for reviewing assuming this is the right course of action?

Im suffering with the same issue... Just Installed Windows 7 home premium 64bit on E6300 @ 2.5GHz 2GB of DDR2 PC6400 Game is clean install with 1.0.1c (installed patch in hope it would fix the problem bit it did not) Have ATI 1950XTX with 8.56.1.15 ATI drivers (latest ones according to driver update) Tried the full screen fix above which gave me a full White screen instead of a windowed one :cry: A little more definition behind white screen..... It is white with sound however all the buttons are there, i.e I can click randomly and hit editor which takes me to the editor screen where not so much of it is blank with some buttons and menu options are displayed. main page editor
