  1. Not neccesarily. The CMDS has multiple separate programs that have differant parameters. You need to select a program that dispenses both chaff and flares. Alternatively you can hit the bypass switch below the RWR panel to diable the ALE-47 and then your CMDS hat will dispense either one manually.
  2. This guy cross posted to another thread and i replied there. Yeah the 904E4 is not and has never been an permitted fuse to be loaded on the JDAM, and the option was removed in the latest patch. What's likely happening is the miz he's using is older than the fuse update and there isnt any automatic conversion going on within the sim to change the scheme and add the proper fuses.
  3. That is dependent on the tail fuse you put in it. The only mechanical fuse the JDAM uses is the FMU-143.
  4. It's old bombs. You need to unload them from the jet and load new ones. Then edit the fuses as you need to before saving the loadout. The Telltale is that the JDAM has the 904E4 on the nose which is not suppose to be there anymore (removed in the latest update)
  5. Known issue. There does not seem to be any automatic conversions of old bomb configurations in old missions to the new fusing system.
  6. it's the same thing. the Manual is wrong. It's LHAQ
  7. That sounds like intended behavior to me. You're actively deselecting the weapon and changing to another one. My gut feeling is it should be safe'ing the bomb when not in active use.
  8. Confirmed through my tests. My guess is the in air rearm is loading bombs of the old version before the fusing change and it doesn't get the new avionics info passed to say the fuse is armed. So i guess if you wanna use unlimited ammo you're SOL right now.
  9. You don't set it in jet. You set it on the bomb in the rearm menu. All you are doing in the jet is matching the settings on the bomb.
  10. If the mission file was not updated with the release of this patch or the one before it that introduced the new fuses. The bombs that are loaded on spawn are going to be messed up and didn't get converted to the new fusing. Which by extension is going to mess a ton of things up with the avionics. So i reccomend reloading the munitions manually before you takeoff.
  11. And then it was fixed after the patch released on the 11th.
  12. If you don't post tracks we can't help diagnose. They worked just fine for me yesterday.
  13. sounds like the fuses don't get replicated from the bombs loaded on spawn and after they get rearmed.
  14. You don't set the release height of the bomb in the jet. You're just matching the release height set on the bomb. You change it in rearm menu.
  15. The implementations, interfaces, and functions can be wildly different from aircraft to aircraft for the same pod. What it does on one does not mean it does it on the other. early access does not mean every single feature is implemented. Go read the features list and it spells out many items coming after early access. That isnt even the metric for what is a bug in the first place. That is expected function and features using the proper documentation vs the actual. If there is something wrong then it needs to be cited with sources.
  16. The JPF page is only used with the FMU-152 Joint Programmable Fuse and does not work with anything else
  17. I know. I was replying to the OP. With great confusion, because absolutely nothing about the LRLS says it's able to be used in daytime conditions.
  18. ...you're not suppose to use the LRLS in the daytime?
  19. Not that i found. And i looked through it in the modelviewer too with the rigging visualizer on in case i missed a light switch and didnt find one. Would be a nice to have
  20. Only on JDAM's
  21. That's not how this works. If you know something is wrong. Then report it with the correct evidence.
  22. The only *public* documentation that i've been able to find for the 152 SMS options is in the pocket checklist.
  23. far as i'm aware that's what the real jet does. You are forced into AUTO mode when there's a designation.
