FC 2 Mission Editor Satellite View PLEASE Ok, I've started to change the whole Landscape by adding Trees to Airbases, Buildings and so on, but I managed it to finish 2 bases and it gets very boring without a Satelitte View where you can see the Static Objects that you've placed on the Map. Its almost impossible and very annoying and you can not create descent missions which includes a lot of Traffic and more realistic looking Airbases. LC FC 2 looks kinda death to me its just like flying shooting going home...:sleep:...Anyway please ED we need a satelitte View for the Map that also shows the Static Objects.

yea its beautifull, I hope that he release that stuff as static Objects too, and i wanna replace all Shelters with Grandsurfs Nato Shelters... -

Allright i tryed it again and found out that I just got trouble with the Trees, the Buildings are placed correctly. Anyway I found a solution, I just replaced 4 Konteiner files with 4 different sets of Trees and that works fine... Kutaisi Airbase with Trees;):D:D -

AHHH MAN I got it , But, I'll get a mad error. I tryed it wit the Trees for example, but they are placed somewhere bellow the Ground??? I just see the tips of the Trees sticking out above the Ground??? -

UFFF thanx first, thats seems complicated.. I mean..its seems like that this is a loooottt of work, I don't understand the thing with the Tables, I mean i don't understant the steps until some Object is showing up in the Mission Editor Static Object drop down menu..I don't know what I should write into the scripts or tables?! would be cool if you could give me a step by step tutorial with just one Object so I think I'll understant it that way.. -
Allright, can somebody hook me up with some Mission Editor script files, I'm searchin for the Files which includes the Drop down menu and list of Static Objects, I just want to add more static Objects, Trees and stuff like that. NO NEW OBJECTS, just existing ones that you can find inside the Structures/High Folder. I was searching but I found nuthing. Hope not that its hardcoded. Thanx

be sure that I've taken a look long before FC 2.0 was out..damn it :chair: Anyway yea its confusing and annoying sometimes cause now you don't know if a new model or mod is for FC 1 or FC 2, so everybody need to ask and still this will end up in some more confusion. It should be easy for ED to open up a subforum or submenu called FC 2.0..:baby: -
I Don't know how you feel but I feel a lil. bit confused in this Forum, do I check the Lock on Forum for updates, or the DCS Black SHARK because it got almost the same Engine as FC 2.0 ?? would be good to have its own Lockon FC 2.0 Forum..or submenu..where we could post anything FC 2.0 related (Questions, mission editor, Mods, 3D Models, screens, missions) what you think??

Allright, First off, this Skin is based on somebodys skin (Can't Remember sorry). This one is loaded with Tomcats LANTIRN (thanks Tom luv it). The Screenshoots are unedited (just play around with your 3D settings, (Saturation, contrast Gamma). Also you can see a lil bit of the New Taxing and Parking Spot High Res. Skin, Working on a Brighter Runway right now... Hope to release it soon. (Still don't know much about Modman and still I don't like Modman that much haha sorry).

yea I wrote him and yea he is finnaly back, My Lockon prayers have been heard... the Standard Airbase looks so boring, it needs this improvment badly so I hope that he'll release it soon.. I'm coming up with a High resolution Skin pack for the Runway, Taxiways and parking spot, will post a few screens later.. -

ok...makes me a lil bit nuts to have things that I don't have:joystick: I hope ED clears this up, cause we still had the CBU in FC 1... Arghhh Can't be so difficult to make it work.. I also wanne know "Whats up wit those Dummy bombs", they would look nice on a Tornado Gr....:mad::joystick: -
Allright, one more Time, I love F.C 2.0 but I would like to use more of its features when its possible. First off, the CBU-97-lom Model and Skin exist, but I can't use'em in Game, I still found out how to change the Payload (just open the Aircraft lua and search for Pylons, there're some CLSID codes, Every code is a different weapon, but can ED please give us the CLSID code for the CBU, for example, { CLSID = "{A4BCC903-06C8-47bb-9937-A30FEDB4E743} is the Blue smoke Generator... and what about those weapons...BDU-33, BDU-50, BDU-56, hope that someone from ED can clear this up... Thanx-a-lot check the screens, skins exist, probably models too..

to make a long story shoort, yea no mods, just my own F-5 trainer skin that I'll release this week, I just opened up my ATI control panel (Catalyst Control panel), make sure that u got.. Anti aliasing at 4x (or Higher), and Antisotropic Filtering at uhm 4x in Colors -> 3D setting, I lowered the Gamma from 1.00 to 0.95 or 0.90 lowered the brightness to -70 (from 0), raised the Contrast to 175 (max is 200). then u go to the screen settings-> Aviveo color setting. decreased the Saturation from 100 to 46 (so Lockon dosent look so extreme colorfull anymore) then theres a color setting called Temperature, I switched it up from 6500k to 7500k and boom thatz it.. New Lockon FC 2.0 AHHAHahah

saw so many for FC that was never released so hopefully we'll have some Airbase mods for FC 2.0. There could be alot more lights and lamps in the Nighttime, also some NATO shelters and more Detail? ????????????:huh::huh::huh: Grandsurf please come back and finish this..

Hey Folks, I thought about to create a Training Campaign, a training Airfield with some nice traffic going on, and a lot more..anyway I thought about the Flyable F-5 which comes with the All Flyable mod, so I started to skin her yesterday (is not finished yet) Anyway I need to get rid of some letters my Question, where can i delete or change the sings and markings, "VFC-13, NAVY, the Irak Flag", and I thought about to change the Numbers on the Nose so every plane keep his identification number.. and uhm I can't find the Skin of the Big Fuel Tank???????? Ok, Here's some Eye candy, (the shots are not edited, I just changed the Hue, Saturation, Brightness Gamma contrast of my Grafic card.. you shoukd try that too, LockOn FC2 looks a hundred times more beautifull then), enjoy..:joystick:

Allright I want to play Gardener again :lol: Naw for Real, Can somebody try to create a Mod where the Containers get replaced by some different Tree Formations. Somebody did a mod like that for FC 1.0, so we got the Option to give the Airbases a way more "real feeling", and a way better look. :joystick:

if a Returning Plane taxi to a Hanger to park inside it, the Hangar Doors stay closed and it rolls trough the Closed Hangar doors... at least in Multiplayer..I'll see if the same thing Happen in single player. Also the AI is kinda stupid, I was a at least 100 meters away from 2 Taxiing A-10, I was thinkin bout to change my parkin spot so I rolled out of it, the First A-10 Turned panicly around and crashed straight into the A-10 behind it.. and I still was too far away to cause some panic :megalol::megalol::megalol:

Damn I love this mod so much, Build allready a Tornado Airbase and we tryed it Online , Touch n go practise hah it was so nice and yes way more difficult to Flight like real, and thats awesome.. Now I'm going a lil bit far but, 4 things could be optimized, not necassary but this would be insane :music_whistling: 1. Sweep Wings 2. Working Navigation Lights (on the Intake) , Working Position Light under the Belly (red one, its Flashing in reality) 3. Refueling Probe. (air refuelling) 4. Trust Reverse (yea I know I'm crazy...) Don't know if this is possible but yes this would be A dream.. Thanks a lot for this Mod this is the First Time that I'm happy with A Simulation..and thanks to Ed for FC 2.0

seems like that the german word is ment to mean port forwarding, i found something bout UpnP support blablabla portforwarding, i just activated it, and there's a Mac-Id.. don't know if i need it but its listed in my menu..there's a option now to open a port for the UpnP Security setting,but noway to change some settings..it just says "There's no UpnP open port arranged" and no button to change it...man.. hardcore
