I would play DCS even if there wouldn't be any textures used - just simple 3d models. You shouldn't look for eye-candies in such a product. However, BS isn't ugly at all imho. I'd rather say that this kind of graphics perfectly fit to the combat flight sim.

You should think about such plugin guys 'cuz spammers are very active lately. Why they do it by the way? If I see advert like these I definately won't use such advised service - never ever.

I would like someone to define the balance in this case. Write down exacly how it should look in LockOn 'cuz I just simply don't get it. Always when I think about it This is where it can be done with rule 50/50. If realism disturbs MP gameplay maybe whole multiplayer should be re-thought-out. One incoming game (not combat flight simulation) has similar problem but devs have found a solution to give players a wonderful MP gameplay experience. It's incoming "Alien vs Predator 3". Search and read about it. Unfortunatelly that solution can't be transfered to LockOn - I just want to show you that when we think deeply maybe we will find a fix to problem in other areas than messing with realism.

Second thought - this poll is really interesting. Reality always looks for supremacy but in different areas. Both sides (red/blue) fight for it that is why balance comes from reality but we can not call it clearly fifty-fifty situation in all time frames. It even can't be easily measured. If LO stick to the reality, overall balance will not be able to be measured - it shouldn't be. In one area red side is better - in other the blue one.

Hello mate :) Welcome to our forum. Take it easy as a heavy joke. We're all good here ;). Su-35 would be nice to get in a sim but not in high-fidelity sim like DCS where every part of the aircraft, avionic, weapons systems, etc. must work exacly as in real world. We won't get F-22 for a same reason - most of data is a secret. This can happen only in arcade games like HAWX. By the way I would rather want Vietnam era aircraft with highly advanced flight model, exact working weapon system and primitive avionics than those fancy cyber era planes. Many people here would agree it could be a much more fun to fly such things where pilot/player is more important and both sides have almost equal chances to win.
