Yeah it was down for a while. Good news to get it back to triggered actions, that is the preferred method. And heck I already know how to use all the commands so it'll be easy for me. If anyone ever figures out to limit mission loadouts we could use the bomb impact thing to verify a certain bomb has been dropped and remove it from the available inventory. I like the idea of limiting cbu's cause it means you have to add a bunch more vehicles to the mission and they go and kill em all with one bomb... kind of takes away from MP. For now you just gotta spread everything out. I tried reading the developers notes for using lua on the dcs website... I got overwhelmed in like 20 minutes.. Good luck with that... lol.

Im assuming youll be pushing this stuff out in the next few weeks... I was just reading the SLM pdf this morning going oh crap.... I think I'll wait to throw it my MP campaign. I desperately want to get rid of the radio triggers... I really enjoyed reading about the parallel tasking system, and your ideas/theory/testing on those other things you had thrown in, first contact CAS and tailored artillery.. Wow. This is one to watch in the future to come.

I customed my curves so that slight head movements give you the full range, it is difficult to get it to be able to look straight up and out the canopy like in real life and still be able to look all the way down at all the buttons. Heres a simple little demo video that gives you a decent idea of movement, and the other videos of course Im using it so you can see. It is really really sensitive and gives full range, but zoom doesnt work that great which I suffice, I have joystick buttons for zoom so no big deal. Anyhow if you try it out, stick with it for a few months. Like joystick controls when you set new settings it takes 1-3 months to get really used to them and fully proficient. Good luck, hope this helps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XML0y2HytRE I dont know if the profile includes some of the globals, I think it does but just in case mine are set to: speed:1 smooth:10 *** Also map a key to the precision mode, and use it everytime you play. Very important*** DCS A10.zip -
Thanks Delta, hopefully we just about have a full server now, but in order to keep it up for timezones well still need a few more, so I am still actively accepting volunteers. Please PM if interested, looks like we have a good group so far. The only restrictions I have are smokey, bast, and tailpipe(I kid, I kid)

Gonna need some feedback on this one guys.... Let your freak flag fly! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFeRo1Kg7GE&feature=relmfu

Ok we have at least 3 (waiting to verify more) signed up, I'll open slots up on each mission to enable up to 6 players, and when hosting anyone can delete slots if needed to host it. As long as they keep the first two everything should work. Please contact me if interested, we could always use more because I'd like to keep the testing active on a nightly basis. No one is required to host, just need TS3. Thank you anyone willing to participate. Intending to make this a 10-20 mission country wide massive campaign, and I can make missions pretty fast so keeping everyone busy shouldnt be a problem. I can make 1 or 2 missions a day if you guys are testing them that quickly.

I agree, I'll adapt it as soon as possible, gonna have to add some more targets though, and the randomization is hard to do with just flags, each level goes exponential and its hard to keep track. But I'll fugger it out, I'll make it for 8 and smokey and others can just kill 2 slots for smaller servers. BTW Still looking for testers, need at least 2 more hopefully. No pressure, you dont have to be great at the game or anything, just fly around and dont crash into each other....
-
Go figure it'll have to wait, eh I can dig it. Its not that big of a deal, just the host will have to be active in the campaign, or we could figure it out with this new ChatIOlegacy update. I really like the command check loops, way useful. By the way that is the sh*t speed, you rock. Also Ive released my uber hard attempt at a real patrol mission finally. I got bored messing with it so I just threw it out. Check it out if you havent already. Its really difficult cause your expected to fly a whole patrol; flying around looking through the binoc's. It sux. lol. But at times its pretty fun. Gives a good idea what a pilot feels like when he's done.... TIRED.

This is shaping up to be pretty good. I have 3 or 4 missions already made depending on how well you do. I have played them all in single but about one full run, a few tweaks and move on is about all I have time to do. These missions are not hard, they are fairly easy, just the idea of a semi-developed story line, a moving campaign, across the whole country, having to ferry to locations to get close to the battle and flying in an immersive, warlike, situation. Right now while Im building it is solely two player, however once it is finished I plan on adding slots so others can join, even if they cant flip triggers. They can still kill stuff and affect the outcome of the missions. Come on, theres got to be some few interested? Please? -Shouldnt have to beg to get people to play a game, that goes against all that is holy on this forum....

Here are some videos I made to show my friend because hes really interested in this game, super high quality HD and all are short besides the first 3. Feel free to check them out.. Everything from AAR to night JTACs and IMC landing. http://www.youtube.com/user/LegendaryWildFire?feature=mhee

Alright here is the first mission Im actually releasing as the patch broke my others. Single and 8 player Border Patrol for DCS A-10 ver 1.1.0.9, is an insanely hard mission that I was attempting to get the feel of a real A-10 pilot. Basically your on station for 3 hours flying around a grid attempting to locate and process targets. Your expected to manage ordinance to stay on station for the allotted time. Also if you havent changed your zoom you will need to do so for this one. see here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=76866&highlight=binoculars. Weather conditions are horrible, but you can still see fine up in the high country; the best thing I can advise is try to keep wingy alive long enough to help you spot targets. You will need to AAR a couple times in this mission. There are some slight issues with the AI attacking targets, but it only affects immersion, it has no effect on your objectives or gameplay; if you would like to help read the included readme. Otherwise leave feedback, and dont worry about complaining how long it is, I know Ive flown it quite a few times start to finish. Also Targets appear randomly as the mission progresses, only three (of five random) groups will be spawned besides the ammo dump. So you may have to fly around for a while to find anything. The idea was that enemy units may set up shop while your on patrol. Well thats it, good luck, see if you can make it through this one! Be forewarned this mission is tough, because it requires focus for so long, like a true pilot, I hope. co8.BorderPatrol.v2.miz sp.BorderPatrol.v2.miz

*Mods, apologies if this should be posted in another section.* In need of at least* two playtesters who can test and provide feedback on a 2 player coop campaign I am designing. Not able to test myself. Will be building daily for the next week or two. Expected time of completion is max 2 weeks with available testing. If you are not able to bring in a second person feel free to PM me and hopefully I can match 2 people up who can play at the same time, or I can recruit maybe 4 or more and host a server in which everyone can play on so I can receive immediate feedback. Can also host a teamspeak if needed, and can keep both server/teamspeak up 24/7. Prerequisites: 1. Speak English 2. Be able to install/use communication software to talk to each other while testing. 3. Be able to play at least a couple times a week, open to negotiation... 4. Version 1.1.0.9 installed and running without errors. PM me if interested, and thank you for reading.

I just wanted to make a short post if anyone can verify if this is working? Im in the midst of creating a 2 player coop campaign and I need to use radio triggers for some stuff, would like to know if the clients can "see" the radio commands in the list. Thanks in advance-

Im glad someone mentioned WOP. Their weather effects were amazing.

Yeah so the topic was last seen in Ballarat headin east.... I was wrong, talking about the number of devices that can be connected rather than the number of hubs, guess its been too long since Ive read the stupid thing. However, five is also not a maximum, it is a theoretical worst case scenario, and as such in engineering, we can find a way to do it better, we always do. The possibility and how to achieve it is in the spec. http://www.perisoft.net/engineer/usb_20.pdf I dont even know that much out of it, I fell asleep pretty much every morning trying to read, understand and then devise tests for our lab. But I do believe some congratulations are in order, apparently some of our members can effectively negotiate search engines in such a way as to be perceived at or above a level of knowledge and understanding to feel empowered. Tomorrows engineers today? /sarcasm Nothing against anyone I just felt like being sarcastic. Im bored.
-
Yeah, my boss tasked me with reading the USB spec manual because we were planning on using powered hubs with software that depended on the ability to save lives, so we had to be sure they wouldnt sleep, or die, or have any standby issues or power loss, skips, or pauses. Out of the entire 800 page manual I only remember two things, one of which is the fact that up to some ridiculous number like 64 usb hubs can be daisy chained together with no loss whatsoever. And that was tested with devices in every port, on and running. Crazy.

You sir, are correct. Tonight in a mission I had a hard time getting a flight of 10's to bomb some targets. I said to all h**l with it and put a... ROE-weapons free Enroute task - search and engage within 10nm Enroute task - CAS (stop condition next waypoint) Perform task - engage groups 1-3 Perform task - orbit 1/2 hour So they did a couple circles, number 1 hit a mountain then 2 took the initiative, dropped two clusters and left. They were fully loaded. Indeed we may have a problem here. I also tried multiple combinations of the available options, this scenario had the only successful drop.

So you still have to taxi, interesting. I dont know which I would choose in that scenario. -

In multiplayer you still can start dark and cold..... ? Dont know for sure but it doesnt make much sense unless its some kind of unintended glitch.
