A Master Bus Controller (MBC), which is part of the CDU, initiates, monitors, and controls data transfers over the digital data bus. When a failure occurs in the CDU, the EGI assumes control of the digital data bus.

With weight on wheels, and when the airspeed decreases below 75 knots, a download of data to the DTC is automatically initiated. This download causes the waypoints, flight plans, and present position to be downloaded; and the EGI GPS is placed in the NAV mode and then a maintenance log is written which causes a warm start of the CDU. When a warm start of the CDU occurs, this display will go blank for several seconds, then the page that was displayed prior to the warm start will be redisplayed, and the WARM START annunciation will be displayed on CDU for 10 seconds or until the FA pushbutton is depressed. When auto-download of system data is initiated and a CDU warm start occurs (aircraft landing and airspeed falls below 75 knots), automatic disengagement of the LASTE EAC switch may occur. This is normal system operation. During auto-download , a WCN caution CDU NOT READY which indicates CDU Not Communicating on the 1553 will be displayed on both MFCDs. Furthermore, If the CDU determines that a transmission has failed three consecutive times on the 1553 A bus or B bus, a BUS A FAIL or BUS B FAIL is displayed. The annunciation is turned off when acknowledged by depressing the FA pushbutton or communication is re-established. Once acknowledged, the annunciation will not be displayed again until a CDU cold start or warm start occurs. If the condition clears then returns, the failure is logged with no annunciation I couldn't reproduce the BUS A/B FAILs in DCS maybe it is not modeled in the sim.

So what is changed in 1.5.5? There should be a downward compatibility in DCSW since I think Helios would not evolve in the future, the lastest release version was published in 3 years ago.

the issue about trk replaying

Hi all, I am building a mission for the M2K and I need to highlight some instruments such as HSI, ADI ... in the cockpit of M2K. I have added a trigger "COCKPIT HIGHLIGHT POINT" but no highlight is active during the mission. Have anyone try this trigger in the M2K? Regards, Rgls M2k.miz

Hi Ciribob, something is wrong with the keymap of SR. I fly A-10C, and When I press the button 3 , none of the radio is selected. ARC-186 AM is selected if the button 4 is pressed while ARC-164 is selected if I press the button 5. ARC-186 FM couldn't be selected. It is OK in the previous version. Button 3 is for ARC-186AM, button 5 is for ARC-164 and button 2 is for ARC-186FM

Hi Ciribob, could it be possible that players who connect to a radio server fly in different mission server? E.g. Player A,B,C, and D connect to 37.59.10.136, A and B fly in mission server 1, C and D fly in server 2. Can A and B communicate with each other ? Can A and C communicate with each other ? Just like how it is in RL. If you shot down/eliminate a hostile and RTB safely. A killing mark will be paint automatically on your aircraft (it could be a star or the outline of your target). Of course all of the marks will be cleared as soon as you are killed/ejected.
