Cannot install modules in 1.2.7 [No Versions available] Hi all Today I installed 1.2.7 and when I install the modules(A-10C Ka-50 ...),the auto updates dowonloaded something and my PC was powered off due to power lost. I restared my PC and tried to install the modules but failed.I installed A-10C in module manager and the auto update poped up a window showd "No versions available" I had tried uninstalled module by running "DCS_update.exe uninstall A-10C" then reinstalled but also failed,the updater always return "No versions available" How can I resolve this problem without uninstall entire DCS World. Thanks

In RL the pilot use a handle to brake the bird,the more you press,the much force the brake works on the wheels.So it is more real to map the brake to an axis.That is how it works in the Ka-50

If you want to use IVC, TARS is a good plugin for this job. BTW:before any new feature is introduced into DCSW, I think ED should do the best to fix the bugs firstly, or the system will become more and more unstable.

Hi all, I want to know if it is possible to add new commands for some switchs , in order to distinguish diffrent positions of a switch. for example I want to chage the command of TGP power to two commands which may be called iCommandTGPOn and another is called iCommandTGPOff,so when I put the siwtch in the home cockpit to on postion,the TGP power will be set to ON if it is at OFF position, ortherwise it will stays at ON position if it has been turned on already.

What joystick do you have? does the axzis work normally in the control page?

Thanks I find that it is possible to remap those switches as DX keys with TARGET(up to 30 keys). eg.remap the EAC ARM and OFF to DX1,and select the type as pluse,then set the EAC as HMS,so you may flip one time to turn the HMS ON/OFF.but the 30 DX key is not enough.In this way you need remap all the buttons/hat/switches. I will check the profile of A-10C. @NoCarrier I think I have found the reason now.In A-10C,the EAC is set when the key is pressed down or released.But in the Ka-50,the HSM is set only when the key is pressed. Hi,all I just updated my FCS from X52Pro to the hotas warthog a few days ago. I have a problem with the 2-ways swithes on the throttle control pannel. For example,in A-10C the EAC is engaged if I place the EAC to ARM, it would be disenaged if this swith is palced to OFF. while in the Ka-50, the EAC swithch is configured as HMS switch, when I place it to ARM,the HMS is shown, that's OK.but when I want to disengage the HMS and place it to OFF, nothing happends.In order to turn the HMS off,I have to palced this switch to ARM again.That is not same with the A-10C How can I fix this?Should I use the TARGET? The Pitch,Roll and Heading channels shoud be turned on all the time,Alititude channel is not necessary all the time fof a flight. Everytime you change the attitude of the bird, you should retrim it once again. yes, modern aircrafts equip TACAN.But I think to use TACAN or ADF in DCS, what we need is the improvment of avionics,so we can input the channel.The AFM has nothing to do with TACAN.

FYI,Ka-50 doesn't equip TACAN,the other DCS vehicles(UH-1H, P-51D) don't equip TACAN in RL.UH-1H eqiup ADF

I think it shoud be 16*(10+5),the max time you may laser is 160 seconds,but you must wait for 5 seconds with a 10 seconds lasering time.

The DCSW requires a more powerfull PC than the Ka-50 1.02, and some of our polits can't run the DCSW with an acceptable FPS,especially when we preform a close formation , turn all the extrenal nav lights on and begin to dispense flares. anyway, Ka-50 1.02 is enough for aerobatic team

That depends on how long I have flied a sim before.If I never fly a sim before I would like choose the game mode first;while if I have flied another sim days.I may choose the sim mode.
