Hello, After a long time not seen i'm back. I rediscovered my flightsimming after DCS KA50 but allmost didnt have any time to fly it so i put it a bit on hold. Duty called so.... Went to the states for aircrew training on the C130 (load..) so i had it a bit busy. But now, it has calmed down a bit...bought DCS A10 and yeah! I'm still in shape for some flying! For my pc specs... Intel I7 3.4 Ghz, 8 Gb Ram, MSI, N560GTX-TI

thats normal, During my training i noticed that i took around 6 minutes for me after 30 minutes of prebreathing 100% oxygen. But yeah, fun vid!

Well, to sort it out abit...i know it works with gyros and all sorts of that but i more mean like....how do they program a route into it?;) Like airliners have an FMC, western fighters have some kinda box that they plug in....how do russians do that? -
Well, US / Western planes have the waipoints programmed on a Electronic card....but how have the russians this? Like in de Su-27 and Mig-29....how does their navigation system work? Would be handy if someone knows this haha Thanks in advance!:smilewink:

I love that stick! It's also used in the MIG-21 Lancer

For Apache pilots requiring optical correction?
thesystem replied to Bushmaster's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
here at the dutch airforce it is possible to get your eyes lasered and then get in to the service but they will test your eyes the best they can. here they warn you about it that your eyes can lose depth vision and colour....and that you can't wear any contact lenses when your eyes get worse....they say...try contact lenses and with no other option, go to a medical eye lasering institution. not some private stuff. But you can get in! For myself: I am now wearing contact lenses and i am gonna be Loadmaster on the C130..... -

Pool question: aircrafts in the DCS plans !
thesystem replied to HungaroJET's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Naa, Mig-29SMT.....air refuel capability....en better weapons hehe;) -
Yes, they are russian so it is totaly logical that they will focuss on Russian material. This is pure logical...so the KA-50 is logical, we dont see the Shark mutc. But in Russia...this can be a totaly different story...

Patch 1.13 Requested Features/Fixes List (*Merged)
thesystem replied to Colt40Five's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
why do you want that the player can choose between NATO and RUS airfields!? the game is in the Crimea.....there is no nato airfield there.... Lets keep it real....for the airfield....a mod is coming up....with everything you can imagine in it....For the G lock....every person is different. Some people can sustain Gforces better as other....but hey...everybody is talking about new mig-29 model and so on...but what if they are in BS....and in the .LOM format....we can just overwrite the old in FC? 3. Upgrade the Aircraft if possible (a better air to ground, air to aire, or etc).. to make the game more attractive and FUN! What about realism? Yeah, i can make the SU-17 flyable...yeah, but how realistic is it? We all love lomac because it is one of the few 'realistic' flight games...yeah i would love to fly the MIG-27 or the Su-22....but since i cant model it correctly, and we cant create cockpits....i think it will never happen -

DCS: Black Shark - Q&A **READ FIRST!**
thesystem replied to EvilBivol-1's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
well, what about all those nice new 3d models from the Mig-29, Su-27 and the Su-25? Will they maby be used in the 1.13 update for LO:FC? Else it would be kinda useless when they are just AI? Or are the models interchangable? -
And the '31 is a two seater... the mig-25 would be more doable...but hey....mig-21/su-17 also good options!
-
aaah, cant read russian hehe, but it has a gun sight....at least on some versions....
-
no ILS!? i thought they had ils....or a russian version...look at the horizon, i see the bars? http://www.testpilot.ru/russia/mikoyan/mig/25/images/mig25p_cockpit.jpg
-
ofcourse it will decrease fps....with more details always fps decrease....but that doenst matter! Details!
-
why would you? A10 is a US plane not a russian....use the su-25 or somekind for that purpose....but why killing realism?
-
brakechute? Never seen a A10 with brakechute?
-
well, i actualy like it! looks cool, same as the Israeli version....
