After destroying the compound I was instructed to contact "Eyeball 1". Though, none of my radios gave me the option to contact Eyeball. Besides the briefing holds no information on radio frequencies for Eyeball. Tried F10 for "other", but no luck. Any suggestions? Best

First time I flew Sunset Sierre I got in contact with JTAC. Since then, I haven't been able to get any response. I am holding position over waypoint 3 at 14.000 ft. I set the VHF FM 2 radio to 65.5 as described in the briefing. I have tried all three radios mic's; UHF, VHF 1 and 2. Still no response. Plaese Obi One Kenobi

AFAIK there is none simulated. You will have to hold W.

DO you have to follow these instructions? I admit to sometimes divert from orders given by JTAC or ATC. With all due respect, it's an AI. I know we want it as real as it gets, but sometime I have to compensate for the lack of the AI. Anyone else?

BTW you will have a hard time manoeuvring the bird without analogue control. Stall warnings and tire blow is common with keyboard.

Well you can, and so did I. But you WILL at some point realize you will need to look around while managing radio controls, slew your TGP and maneuver the bird at the same time, and then you need a HOTAS and a Track IR.

I understand that the matter has been brought forward several times. On the other hand, I AGREE with the fact that there are far more important things to have in place before this. Suggest you enable it is an option to turn on or off. Personally, I think the effect enhanced the feeling of being airborne and having distance to the ground. Among several other things, it was one of the details I took notice of as I first became acquainted with Lock On. I miss them, though it is not the first thing to consider.
