If been able to pick up targets at 80 km at least in RWS.

Yup,had that a couple of times,though it might be due to ping.

Have you checked if there are no multiple mappings for them. I had to re-map my controls after installing 1.2.1.

Go to options. In the controls menu look for 'Labels' on the drop menu. Its in there somewhere.
