  1. Looking forward to seeing a few historic skins for the Mig-15,but I guess firstly a flyable model would be nice, are the devs going to create a flyable Mig-15,does anybody know?
  2. Excellent, thank you very much,I'll give it a go
  3. I find the wheel brakes really powerful on the F-86,and was wondering if I can make them a little less powerful by tuning the 'Axis Tune' on them. Which of these do I need to 'tune' please,Deadzone,Saturation X,Saturation Y,or the Curvature,I'm not sure which one will accomplish what I'm after. Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated, thanks  ps. I using the Saitek Combat rudder pedals
  4. That's beautiful mate, but the starboard side does'nt have the dragon on it,see my pics in this thread,if he can redo the starboard side as it should look,it'll be a peach
  5. Yes,can't wait for new skins to appear, this is my favourite,'The HUFF' flown by Lt. Jim Thompson,it's quite a classic,I wonder how many versions we'll see of this one alone.I have uploaded here the real HUFF in Korea,Port,Starboard, profile and a diagram of decal placement. I hope we also see very Hi Res versions to show off the DCS F86F in all it's splendour.
  6. Yes,I'm fascinated by the Mig-15,would love it to be fully researched and developed,oh and by the way at the moment the sounds need a tweek,it's missing that unmistakable 'whistle'.
  7. Jocko, love the new black dash but personally I prefer the darker throttle,is there a way we can 'cherry'pick you're work to suit our personal preferences. Top work matey
  8. Here's an even better pic of the internal colour.
  9. .....Another favourite
  10. Most of these came from Osprey's book on the 51st Fighter Wing F-86's :smilewink:
  11. Amazing, that's the first pic of the red internal coloured speed brakes I've seen, all the ones I've trawled through are in olive green. Although however,if you look close enough at your photo, you can see the green paint showing through the worn areas,I still reckon this red colour is an overpaint of the original factory olive green colour,it was the same Olive Green colour as used in the P-51's cockpits I think. BTW,I am not casting a critical eye over this issue, just an observational one,the devs have done a great job on this F-86
  12. I have'nt got the relevant skills to do any skins unfortunately, but I do have a wealth of picture reference that I can share,so I thought I'd start a pic reference thread. for the skinners. So start adding your desired skin pictures gentlemen,I'll start us off with a few of my favourites mostly from the 51st Fighter Wing, here we go. 1.MIG MAD MARINE of Maj John Glenn x2 pics 2.THE HUFF of 2Lt James L.Thompson 3.MIG MAD MAVIS port and starboard profiles of Lt Col George I Ruddell
  13. One of the first things I'd change if I had the skills would be to change the internal colour of the speedbrakes,I don't know where the dev got the red colour from, the real F-86 had olive green internal coloured speed brakes see pic. Small issue I know but it would be nice to address it at some stage,in fact if someone has the relevant skills to change this I'd be very grateful, just a small file that we could pop into the skin folder so that it overwrites the original or something.
  14. +1 too
  15. Something called 'IMMERSION',I use a Saitek throttle quadrant for my undercariage and flap controls, which has clearly defined middle sections so I can't see a problem,I have no problem selecting a 'middle room',it's just personal preferance I guess, sure if you want to use a button go ahead use your button.
  16. It would be very nice if the good chaps at DCS could give us an AXIS for the flaps, and maybe a second one one for the landing gear,so we could map these to our controllers, instead of us having to use a very unrealistic switch.
  17. To bring radio panel up select #
  18. ......and me
  19. Correct,I allready belong to a Squadron that I have flown with for the past 3 years on Cliffs Of Dover iL2 so that side is covered
  20. Thanks for the tip.
  21. Great idea and one I'd thought of myself actually, yes bring on the B and C variant please DCS
  22. Why is it that when you give you're flight of four aircraft the command to fly in formation, the flight does, but at such a long distance away, even if you command the flight to pull in tight they're still so far apart,it's ridicoulous:doh: I'd like to get my flight to pull in really tight which is much more realistic,at the moment my formation flight of four P-51's are flying 'line abreast' football pitch distances apart. Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated, thank you.
  23. Tell your flight to 'Engage Bandits' via the comms,I've noticed the first thing they do is jettison their tanks,so you can try this. It's not perfect,a workaround if you will, but at least you'll know they have got rid of the excess weight.
  24. Thanks Mike will try this too, much appreciated guys
  25. Ahhh......thank you
