  1. Thanks for checking SorelRo. I'll check again when I fly the mission and report back.
  2. Hi , I found the maps in previous missions a bit difficult to parse but on this one I can't make sense of them at all. They route seems to go into the sea, then there is a waypoint that passes over the big lakes at the east. I'm guessing the first images just don't belong to this mission at all. The one over the lakes seem to make sense, but you should be going east and the heading indicated in the image is west bound. Then there is something else at the end that I can't make sense of at all. Is it me or are these briefings terribly confusing? Or are they just mixed up from other missions and they just don't belong here?
  3. Thanks for replying! Glad to know they will be fixed. I agree it's not a huge issue, more like a kind of small immersion breaker. I didn't realise we can use TACAN! So is it channel 28 for Krymsk?
  4. Hey, first thanks to SorelRo for creating some content for the F-5! It's one of my favorite modules and I was really missing a campaign for it. I am a bit baffled about the frequencies given though: - The ATC freq is outside the range usable by the F-5 radio, so you have to look at the map to get the one you can actually tune to. - The RSBN freq is AFAIK useless for the F-5, isn't it? So I wonder how much was this tested, how come it didn't come up? Or am I missing something and those frequencies are usable somehow?
  5. Oh that's interesting! I'll redo some tests myself and report back
  6. Thanks for that, much appreciated! It actually helped: the wake turbulence is a game changer for ww2, I wasn't aware of that! I completed the mission and it was all smooth now! Great campaign so far btw
  7. I just tried the mission again (see this) and I had different issues this time. First I got the message saying the escorts are leaving, but maybe 2 minutes or so passed until they actually turned away. The attack was way smoother with a small formation this time. However, immediately after getting the let's go home message dcs crashed. It was a pretty hard crash, no "send report" window, and nothing on the logs. I'm starting to think my PC is not powerful enough to handle this mission in VR?
  8. Oh I see! Makes sense, I guess I was too conservative keeping my distance from the escorts. I also found my wingmen lagging behind me quite a lot. It happens also with the A10C II, I wonder if it's an issue with the AI flight models. Thanks for explaining that
  9. I was flying mission 2 and in the middle of the battle, when I was approaching the formation for a 2nd attack run and I was about to shoot, the whole formation just vanished in front of my eyes. Escorts were gone too. Not sure if it is a trigger issue. For some reason before I even got to shoot at the formation a "Let's go home" voiceover was played. Maybe it was a performance issue (I naively chose large formation and I was doing like 15FPS in VR)? I doubt DCS just removes units if performance is too bad, but mentioning it just in case.
  10. No, it's off. I also tried to turn it on in case the setting was inverted, but it's all the same behaviour no matter what. (I assume you mean takeoff assistance?)
  11. Hi, I got myself the Anton and it seems like the auto rudder is always on. When I land, I can see the rudder pedals constantly moving left and right. This is not an issue with my rudders, it only happens with this aircraft (I have verified that with the Mustang and Tomcat, both are fine). I assume this is the auto rudder option because the aircraft remains stable when this happens. I tried turning it on to see if the setting was just inverted but I didn't notice any change. I don't know if this is new for 2.7, I got the aircraft after updating.
  12. Any news on this? The issue is still there in 2.7.
  13. I noticed this quite easily in VR. The red digits just float a bit over the display on the RIO's left console radio panel, instead of been just where it should be on the display itself. This was on the 14A, didn't check the B sorry. Low priority for sure but given the attention to detail I thought it'd be nice to have it fixed eventually
  14. Oh I know, no worries I'm not too bothered by it, considering a big rendering update is coming I'll reevaluate after 2.7 is here. At least I got some decent performance with that tweak.
  15. Thanks @speed-of-heat I saw that but it happens consistently for me. I tried restarting and also recompiling the shaders. It is quite strange, seeing that others use the same version of the mod without issues.
  16. For debugging purposes, removing the model and posteffects folders from the mod solved my issue with the Mi-8 sight. Also the huey having invisible blades and windows.
  17. Hey thanks for sharing this! I'm having an issue with the Mi-8. The sight is invisible. It's just like there is no glass there at all. Am I the only one?
  18. Actually some more details: - Only happens in external view - Seems to be somehow dependant on distance from the crew and possibly angle. They flick when I move my head and dissappear completely if I move the camera farther away.
  19. The title says it all :) I'm guessing I'm not the only one? I have a Rift S.
  20. Can't really do that with paid (i.e. protected) DLC, right?
  21. Oh interesting choice! I would vote for just having the campaign as it is but with the new aircraft, and invest the time in a new A10C II campaign instead, maybe in the Gulf or Syria? :smilewink: Is that poll somewhere public?
  22. I'm just 3 missions into the campaign and I would love to fly it with the new version. Would this be a possibility?
  23. It's a virpil t50 throttle plugged directly to the PC
