I think you have to be at least 2000 meters below your air target for your a/a missiles to hit. It's now look-up shoot-up in 1.12a, that's the way it's air-to-air missiles are modeled in this patch now.. Although I'm still not convinced so I'm still using basic 1.1

The F-16 too has nice fuel tanks too.. Why is it that AI aircraft (except su25T & Ka-50) had better 3d models than Flyable a/c? I've been wondering since day 1 of Lock On. Maybe ED doesn't really make much 3d models themselves but rather it was done by volunteer 3d modellers.

I saw this one two, they should have replaced F-22 w/ F/A-18 or F-16 instead..

I think the important thing is that, there should be complete supporting equipment to the NATO aircraft like refuelers, tugs, radio ILS etc. but since Lock On wasn't really modelled to that depth, i think it shouldn't bother much. The Blue Angels did perform once on a soviet style airbase.. NATO base? .. yes, i get it, what you want is a western style Airbase. Of course it should be placed on the allied nation of NATO yes that would be great. =D

I see, so you need to check out the server first, feel out the aircraft around before starting to shoot

Let's hope for it.. the Falcon's tanks were much better, on the other note we'll be getting an AIM-120B & an improved AIM120C 3d model as posted in the latest BS screen caps =D

Yes, an Intro video would be cool, :thumbup: about the sounds, Maybe you could try replacing the main ogg with the success ogg, The LO FC Interface sounds better in that although the looping feel is the like in those Ragnarok Online games. Not a solution, just a way to make it a little better. I also liked that JF-18 Intro Video & the campaign movies.:joystick:

Sorry to gatecrash but I think there's also a problem in the F-15's shadow, the Pilot's shadow is missing whereas it was complete back in 1.02.

I'm still at 1.1 but I'm looking for 1.11 only Until the A/A Missile dynamics would be finalized, I'll stick to the Basic FC, I really feel awkward firing R-27ER from below my target in 1.12a & I don't often use the R-77 for the flanker because it decreases the FPS

The "AI" don't have common sense, they only have a correspending response to what you do to them..
