  2. Just try again and do better next time. If it still doesn't work, report here again and explain exactly which command doesn't work. I also had some trouble with some commands in the past. Then I tried something and somehow it worked then. You should do the same!
  3. I just tested it in the cold start tutorial. There you start at Mozdok (137.0 MHz) Also here, no communication with ATC possible... There is no such difference. There is also only one single communications binding in the control options. The selection on the SPU-7 decides, which radio your mic actually is keying.
  4. If I open the squelch on the R-863 I can hear the static, but regardless the correct frequency, the tower won't answer. SPU-7 is set to Radio. Dial on the SPU-7 is set to the first stage (ЧKB) modulation is set to AM. radio is set to use manual dialing, emergency freq switch is down. Layringophone is switched off (down). I am testing this currently in a simple mission having my Mi-8 on the ramp at Kobuleti. 133 and 262 MHz both are dead in the R-863. Whenever I call the tower, no one answers. Also no automatic messages from the tower are received (like startup clearance when you already start up at own discretion) Can anyone confirm the R-863 is still working in the present DCS build?
  5. As I said, I simply leave out the PUS arming step entirely. You only have to successfully arm the UPK switch. Then put the UPK/RS switch to RS and leave it there, no matter if you want to fire rockets or UPK. Select something on the 800/622/624 switch. Now you will fire rockets, unless you turn the pod selector to UPK (which enables firing of the selected 800/622/624). The PUS serves no purpose right now apparently.
  6. No I am in a self made mission. Thread caught my attention only for the lack of PUS Arming in the title. But I also found out I can simply disregard the PUS Arming to enable rockets firing.
  7. I can't get the PUS arming to work. I am up in the air, so no electric shortage could be held responsible. The according check lights stay dark.

  11. There seems to be some lack of electricity failure that only allows my engine startup to give some stuttering. I can solve this only by lifting the pitch slightly up. This issue is present when starting up without external power connection.
  12. It may also be dependent of hosting a MP session if I recall it right. Under no circumstances should this sound be active after shutting down, no matter if the standard procedure was followed. Only temporary phase of when they should be audible is while spooling up the engine when pressing the start button on the pitch.
  13. The one you marked with the yellow circle should be the canopy "jettison". I am also not in front of my game PC right now... I was talking about the two valves with the red tongues upon them, in the center of your pic. The left one of these on the pic (so the more front one in the cockpit), with the red circular wired ring to pull beneath it, is the only one with a tool tip saying it is the landing gear one...
  14. Can anybody confirm that it can occur after landing and shutting down the engine that the clicking of the ignition sparks from the engine start cycle are audible persistently?
  15. you likely speak of 3 o clock then, the nearer of the two valves? Yes, I tried both. Although the one you speak of is tool tipped to address the flaps, not the gear.

  18. I so far tried to manipulate that according valve at my right knee and then pull both loop wires but nothing happens.

  20. Ok, found it myself in the NASIC Technical Report TR-AE-63, Flashheart602 posted here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=141070 It is no fuel flow gauge but apparently indicating the lower fuel pressure segment of the fuel pressure indicator left of it.
  21. yeah probably. But since now I got your attention, I have another issue I would like to hear your opinion of: On page 12 we see the cockpit main panel. On the bottom right we see the "Fuel flow gauge" reading kilogramms per hour. But on the instrument it reads kg/cm² which would indicate a pressure. So what do we have here? Could that be the exhaust gas pressure, a pressure at a specific stage inside the turbine or any indication of thrust? I think we can safely assume, it at least doesn't show fuel flow...

  23. I also say it is 180° turned wrong right now. The air valve has a writing on it stating "ЗАРК" (close) position being backwards, so the forward position is indeed open. But if you check the oxygen flow indicator you will notice that currently it only indicates air flow while having the valve put to the announced close position. So either it is bugged right now or the air valve is to be interpreted to close the cabin air supply, therefore enabling the oxygen flow which then gets indicated.
  24. Hi there! I have a correction on the oxygen supply system on the current page 21. You state we should leave the air valve in the forward position. I am pretty sure we have to turn it backwards instead, as the Oxygen flow meter will only then commence its flapping indications. I though admit this may be bugged, since the writing in the valve clearly states the close position to be backwards. So in the guide you are telling the truth but in the sim it works 180° wrong currently... I will post it in the bug section in case I don't find it there.
  25. I agree with you, the idle stop detent should prevent the twist grip being turned back to off. That is indeed its important purpose. So then you agree we have a bug here because I am addressing the situation where I want to turn the twist grip to max open in its initial move out of the off postition. This works with PgUp (and the mouse), but not with the slider binding.
