Well I just got a quote back for laser cutting Jedi's pit. Came in at just under $1k. That's supplying the MDF and dropping off and picking up so it's not cheap. With regards to selling commercially, you might want to get legal advice because I don't think anyone can claim copyright on a replica of a cockpit other than the manufacturer of said cockpit. To claim copyright your idea has to be original.

Hi all. What would you guys say would be a reasonable price to have this pit laser cut. I just got a quote back for $994.20 I have no idea what the going rate for this sort of thing is but for that price I'll do it myself with my wobbly hand and jigsaw.

Strooth! ... Bloody Bonza Mate ;)

Ok ... I found the problem. I have multiple accounts with DCS, is there anyway I can get the extra account removed, and the proper account renamed?

S! Bengo No mate, Win 7 Home 64bit. Where are the log files kept? Cheers, CoderX71

Well I installed DCS World v1121 and v1121 of BS2, it accepted the serial number but now it's crashing when ever I enter MP or SP. I don't feel it's worth the hassle at the moment considering World is still at BETA. I'll install BS2 and A10 seperately from World for now.
-
Oh just realised something ... I should be using DCS World v1.1.2.1 ?
-
OK, I'll give it a go and report back once done. Thanks again.
-
Thanks for the support! So how about I deactivate everything first, uninstall and then follow the steps you suggest? Cheers.
-
All sims were bought using the one login, so would you suggest forcing the re-activation process?
-
Standalone. Thanks for the quick reply :)

Hi All, I have A-10, BS2 and P-51D. Installed in my system now is DCS World with P-51 and BS2. I also have BS2 installed seperately. I've never used MP before but tried it tonight. Everytime I try to login I get "Invalid Serial Number" message. Have I done something wrong installing two copies of BS2? I've read about the registry fix but I'm not sure what I need to do and I'm not game enough to install A-10 yet. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, CoderX71

Yeah they're copping it enough from their own customers already.

The patch is an ALPHA patch after all, I wouldn't expect much at this stage.

World and AMD CCC crashes when using Eyefinity
SimHog replied to SimHog's topic in Video Corruption and Related Card Issues
Well disabling Crossfire has fixed the problem, tested it several times. I know it's only a Beta at this stage but given all other issues I've had with Crossfire, I think my next GPU upgrade will be a single card setup, despite having a multi-monitor setup. -
World and AMD CCC crashes when using Eyefinity
SimHog replied to SimHog's topic in Video Corruption and Related Card Issues
Thanks P, appreciate the advice. I'll try this out tonight when I get home from work. I'm going to have have look at the virtual memory settings. I'm at a loss as to why the OS is only accessing 3.3GB. Re: crossfire ... I'm starting to get the impression that Crossfire / SLI is really a hindrance than a benefit for gaming. I mean I also play a lot of FPS games and many of them suggest disabling Crossfire / SLI to cure bugs. IL-2 CloD still doesn't support it, I've also bought Ka-50 and A-10 but have noticed I get smoother frames with Crossfire disabled, its the same with RoF. -

World and AMD CCC crashes when using Eyefinity
SimHog replied to SimHog's topic in Video Corruption and Related Card Issues
Thanks PeterP. I thought I had it fixed after installing the CAT 12.4 drivers, and then going through the cocpit familiarisation mission without any issues. But I spoke (posted) too soon. I'm now getting a bright green screen that comes and goes randomly and 3D objects (buildings, parked aircraft etc.) appearing and then disappearing. Plus I've only just noticed that I get a Low Memory warning from Windows when running the sim. As far as I can tell my memory is fine, I do a lot dev work on huge databases on this PC with multiple apps opened when working, and the graphic cards are at normal temps, plus I haven't overclocked anything. Going to look for the crash log -
Hi All, Not sure if this is an issue with World or P-51D. I've got a triple screen setup (Eyefinity) and when setting the resolution to full (5760 x 1080) the simulation and CCC (12.1) crashes. Everything works fine when using a single display. World is always able to return to the main menu but the simulation stage always crashes and I need to reboot to get CCC working again. EDIT: Updating to CAT 12.4 has fixed the issue. Cheers, C

Hey Dragon. Thanks for these missions, I can't wait to try them out. I'm just getting into BS2 and was wondering do these missions have automated instructions / text pop up telling you what to do / press? Or should I watch the "Developer Notes" videos first?
-
Doh ... I didn't know that.

That's an issue with Steam. Login to their support centre: https://support.steampowered.com/ You'll need to create an account first (your Steam account is different to the support account) and then lodge a ticket.
