CH wouldn't have a problem because their designs are unique and their own. With Thrustmatser they do acquire licences to make to their products and they do have a current licence with the U.S. Air Force.

I haven't read the entire thread but has OP mentioned or considered if he needs permission from Lockheed Martin and / or Boeing to actually make these replicas? I only ask because I have made direct contact with Bugeye and Aerotronicsllc to see if it was possible to buy the aluminium castings for the grip and throttle bodies so I could do exactly what OP wants to do ... they just laughed. They're under strict legislative controls to make their HOTAS products and they can't sell to the general public unless the buyer has gone through all necessary hoops to gain permission from the rights holder (i.e. Boeing and Lockheed Martin etc.) and the US government to obtain them. Even scrap items from the production line are recycled or destroyed. A lot of these products are governed under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) so I don't know exactly what "homework" the OP has done but I don't think it's going to be that easy. I mean - if DCS themselves, or any third party developer, make an aircraft module they need permission from the manufacturer to actually build and sell it.

Simply amazing work. Well done! Can I ask what CNC you're using? I've recently bought a Optimal BF20LV and the conversion kit is on it's way. Can't wait to start building my own sim gear.

I don't know much about 3D printed plastics, are there any concerns about stress fractures?

I'd wait for Pascal, and even then I'd wait longer for the Ti model. http://wccftech.com/nvidia-flagship-pascal-gpu-2h-2016/ -
Guys ... When you fix an issue can you please list the steps you took to actually rectify it? It would really help those of us tyring work through the very same issue.

I ran the beta for the first time and notice the default resolution ( 1270 x 768 ) was lower than my monitors native res ( 1920 x 1080 ). Changing the resolution to my monitors native resolution caused the UI to stretch past the boarders of the screen, I now can't access buttons in the config screen to change anything. How / where can I change the config file to restore things?

I thought the BD issue was fixed ages ago. I can now run DCS 1.2 without any issue with BD, but yeah I'm getting the "No Internet Connection" error with 1.5 Beta ... arghhhh! Edit: Yeah just turned off the BD firewall and now I can login. Why is this so hard to fix, not saying it's ED's issue, but come on!?

Yeah I had that before but thought I needed stronger protection after I installed ImageBurn and it installed some thing that high jacked my web browsers and MalwareBytes didn't pick it up. I think I might research software before installing it from now on.

Solved the problem ... Bitdefender Internet Security 2015 Uninstalled it and now I can install all my modules via the module manager. Can anyone recommend an Anti-Virus program that doesn't conflict with DCS?
-
Yeah that I know. I was able to login and play multiplayer prior to the recent update, where I had to re-download and re-install everything from scratch for the update before that. Its frustrating because I've got really crappy internet in my area, it takes me 10 hours to download the DCS World module alone, last time I travelled 1.5 hours to a mates house who's got cable :P
-
Seriously ... oh man. Well I've been trying the module manager thing inside DCS World and keeps saying invalid username / password, yet I have no issue logging into my account via the website ... What is going on here?
-
Ok I've got two issues: 1) For last two updates the updater fails to update, the command prompt box pops up then closes and DCS World just opens up as normal. I have had to revert to doing the command prompt thing in below thread to get it to work. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 2) After every manual update however I get the "can't connect to master" when entering MP. In order to fix that I have to do a complete uninstall and re-install DCS World and all the modules. I've setup my anti-virus / firewall to allow ALL the .exe's in the DCS folder and I've even allowed them in my router's firewall. My mate suggested I just install DCS World and install the modules from within the module manager which I'm doing right now. ---> EDIT ---> The module manager won't accept my username / password ... gerrrrr Any ideas? Thanks.

Public inquiry. What is your PC video card?

I know this poll is old but ... Currently 2 x 7970 in CF, but looking at 2 x GTX980 in SLI or 390X CF when its out. Hoping the new engine will support multi-GPUs. If not, will get a Titan X -
Cant connect to master: Never had it b4. Played 1 hour ago??

Hi all, Flew the A10A for the first time on the weekend and noticed my cockpit textures were all blurry except for the dial faces. Is this a bug? If so how can I fix this?

Ok, so while taxiing you need to use the brakes to steer and line up etc. Thanks guys.
-
I'm finding taxiing to be a pain, am I correct in that you steer with the brakes and not the rudder? If so, what the best way to keep in line with the runway when taking off before getting up enough speed when rudder control kicks in? Also does anyone have a profile for the Warthog or just a picture of what they've mapped controls too? Many thanks.
