If I'm not mistaken there are two radios in the Kamov - try remapping both radio buttons in the options. Ipp-dipping at keys will take an age.

After you guys rearm the A-10C, do you notice your countermeasures getting replenished?

Ah, OK. I didn't realise that it was solely designed to be a cockpit trainer. I knew it wasn't made to replace the room-sized military simulators, but anyway, thank you for destroying my theory. :)

If the A10C was made off the back of a training version for the USAF, then the F35 could also fall under this category due to the number of countries that were* placing orders for it, and thus needing training simulators. Is it not more probable that the F35 is, or was, going to be the next module? Maybe Wag's signature is more of a disclaimer.

Have you had any luck in sorting out, or replicating this problem? I've just come back from BMS and jumped straight into a JTAC training mission I created; the JTAC is so bugged it's beyond belief! An AFAC Predator is supposed to datalink me 10 targets (all with no mark). Some passes are OK, but on others it says 'no mark' in the 9line, then makes me go through the whole IP INBOUND routine and I get the option to turn his laser on, which doesn't even work once I've pickled. On the second pass of the same target I saw an option beginning with 'S' after the LASER ON command, this turned out to be a shortcut to my desktop - brilliant! 1.2.3 cannot come soon enough. Frustrating isn't the word.

I'd been ignoring this sim for a good few years because of its title, thinking it was some WW2 game based around Dover and the English Channel. :doh: stupido...

The 'hidden on map' is only to de-clutter the ME map. The option you are looking for is in the main options page, along with 'fog of war', etc.

Pilot textures are back with the new .7286 build, as are the two minute loading times and the freeze on entering the pit..:doh: One step forward, two steps back.

anti-skid wouldn't stay on after damage repaired

I had a similar experience; bird strike on take off, landed with one engine and after the shutdown and the repairs, the switch for the anti-skid keeps flicking back off just like the anti-collision lights switch does without the using pinky switch first. -
I still have the missing pilot textures in 1.2.2.7204; at least the loading times have improved and there is no freeze once in the pit.:thumbup:

Mine does the same thing, only when he returns he crashes into the other wingman who has taken up his position.

Make sure you setup each aircraft independently. Once you start copying profiles from one aircraft to the other, all kinds of things start to go wrong.

The version said 1.2.3, and even that said it was in beta - I doubt it will be out this month, never mind this weekend.

Yeah, assign group - that is what it's on. I spent a good 24 hours playing about with it and it's beyond me. Have a crack at it, put red and blue 20ft apart, one on hold fire, the other with disabled IA. These JTAC guys just don't like the night. :megalol:

Not too sure about the TAD cursor, but my TGP only bounces when I try to slew it whilst passing directly over the top of what I'm looking at - just in the stage where the camera is flipping round. I wouldn't say it is an issue, I would imagine its real life counterpart does a similar thing.. I don't know about the JTAC issue, if it was as simple as moving the target closer, I'm sure someone would have corrected me. It think it's pretty porked in general at the moment; there are multiple problems with it. I the IR doesn't even work with the Predator, either.

For those of us who haven't had the chance to fly on the Nevada map, could someone tell us a little bit about it; the size, number of airports, amount of towns, and was the Vegas strip on at that point or is it brand new with EDGE? I wouldn't mind an image of the F10 map if anyone has one. Cheers Adi

It wouldn't be too bad if you could actually make them invisible, not just invisible to enemy radar. Personally, I can get past the FAC calling out infantry as my target. Better still, there could be another unit added into the game; a small invisible dot that could hover AGL, like the square gates for the P51, with tick box in the options to decipher between bridge or building, so the FAC could call out the relevent target.

Would be nice to have this as an addition for targeting bridges and other buildings. I know you couldn't designate the actual structure, but it could work like the 'bomb point' by targeting a grid reference. Just a thought.

Yes, couldn't agree more. I don't even think it needs the amount. One bomb per pass is usually good enough, unless I miss. Never seen the full flight engage the same target, either.
