It'd still be shipping from within the EU, and with VAT included, so I can't confirm how the pricing will effect US customers just yet. This will primarily benefit our EU customers. We will of course be looking to expand our US distribution channels in the future though!

 It will of course be possible for US customers to order from the EU distribution center for the benefit of using Amazon! We'll no doubt expand into Amazon US in the future

►VIRPIL Controls on Amazon! VIRPIL Controls have been working hard to improve and expand every aspect of the company and subsequently the overall experience delivered to our customers. We’ve noted every request, suggestion and comment made to us over this year and one that has came up time and time again is about additional distribution centers in the EU. We are very pleased to announce that we now have a distribution center located within the EU! We are also very excited to announce that sales from our EU distribution center will initially be handled exclusively by the official VIRPIL Controls Amazon storefront. In addition to this, we will also be launching our own EU store website to run alongside this in the future. The benefits of this are; Prices now include VAT Faster shipping Quick and painless ordering process via Amazon We are currently in the process of stocking our EU distribution center and sales will open on Amazon, 18th September 2017! Stay tuned for further updates!

You can go on virpil.by and the shipping cost is calculated on the fly on the basket page after you type in your address! Currently everything is shipped from the VPC HQ in Belarus.

Can you send me your order number please?

;) I'd like to request if anyone wants to get a hold of me, to email me on the sale@virpil.com address though. It gets a bit difficult to keep up with all the PMs on the forums!
-
Ah that's pretty much bang on then! Yes they should be in pairs. Please email sale@virpil.com with your order number and mention the springs as well please!
-
Perhaps just test another plane quickly, or check DXtweak for any crazy inputs. Here's a formation flight in the SU-27 which includes the VPC team flying with the MongoosT-50!

Things were pushed back slightly due to the issue with the cams, if you email sale@virpil.com I can find out roughly where in the queue you are at the moment.

Replied to your email - your order has already been shipped out :)

Email me your order number to sale@virpil.com please and I'll check this out for you :)

Quite possibly! As I'll be using relative throttle/decoupled, so you don't have to hold the throttle in place, but instead just pull the lever to accelerate and then you can let go and you'll maintain your speed. The levers will only be used when speed adjustments are necessary. Still it might not be the best layout, but I'm looking forward to trying a few things. If you get a decent layout figured out, could you fill in the the MT-50 mapping templates and share with us? :smilewink:

What did you order? Remember that will include the 20% VAT - no way around it unfortunately! :(

SC and ED :) I haven't settled on a control layout yet as I haven't set my space-pit up! I fly decoupled and I think the first layout I'll be trying is: Right Hand X Axis = Yaw Y Axis = Pitch Brake Lever = Forward Thrust Left Hand X Axis = Horizontal Thrust Y Axis = Vertical Thrust Brake Lever = Reverse Thrust/Space brake Pedals = Roll

Great review dburne! Thanks for posting! -
This is the exact same setup I'm planning for my space-sim pit

21st August 2017 // Announcement No. 21 ► The First in Space! From the 22nd to the 27th of August, the international Military-Technical Forum “Army-2017” will be held at the Patriot ExpoCenter, Alabino Testing Grounds and the Kubinka Aerodrome. Along with displays of military, rocket and space technology and their latest developments, visitors to the ROSKOSMOS exhibition at pavilion A will be able to experience the latest Virage-VR 1.0 demo stand. Developed using the federal Digital Earth project framework, by the Russian Space Systems holding company “Constanta Design” with the participation of the VIRPIL Controls team. "Digital Earth” will form the basis of a whole family of new geo-informational services, aimed at a wide range of consumers. The planet modelling will be accurate all the way down to 1m, with periodic updating according to remote sensing data of the Earth. Thanks to the VPC MongoosT-50 dual-flightstick control system (Standard and Left Hand), popular among many space-sim enthusiasts, fixed with the VPC Desk Mounts, you can make a virtual flight over the Black Sea coast, rise above the Earth to a height of 200 thousand kilometers and accelerate to half the speed of light and explore the cosmos with unparalleled levels of control and precision.

Hi mx22, shoot this over to support@virpil.com and I'll get our electronics engineer to have a look :)
-
Hi guys, can you use something like dview or dxtweak as mention by Sokol to get a more accurate reading of the axis range? Also it's worth noting that overtightening the tension adjustment screws can start to limit the physical travel, so you've got to balance it! Nabaza, it is possible the cams are causing you issues. Have you emailed sale@virpil.com with a request for new cams? Glad you're enjoying the MT-50 guys!

The software is created by mega mozg as I've previously mentioned. The functionality will of course share a lot of the huge configurability behind MMjoy2 and obviously the version we release will not be the final version. Like all of our products, we want to know what people want from it. The fact we've had mega mozg from the beginning should let you know that our configuration software is certainly not an afterthought :)
-
I don't have any solid information on the utility just yet, but we definitely want to hear what people would want from it! Typically yes, but these are also very easy to assign yourself.
-
Absolutely spot on

No drivers or software are required. It's completely plug and plug. However we will be offering a configuration utility in the near future. Of course, the VPC MongoosT-50 is compatible with any sim that can use USB controllers.
