  1. Same here. How about some official statement regarding this? Is it 1.2.6 problem? Problem on our end? Is it official reported as a bug? Fix worked on? That would be nice to know because no 6DOF, no play.
  2. Exactly same experience for me. I rolled back day or two ago and all went smoothly again.
  3. So Ive tried some things here. I rolled back from 1.2.6 on 1.2.5 and I did not have any issue with tearing image on that version. No graphic change no driver change nothing just like that. Than I deleted everything and instaled clean version of 1.2.6 and yet again the tearing is there. So whatever you changed from 1.2.5 to 1.2.6 regarding views undo it, because Im ***** sick of it. My eyes hurt as hell after 20min of flying with this image tearing. I dont care if some other people dont have that problem, I do. I did nothing on my end that would cause this, just downloaded new version of the program and if it brakes gameplay for even a small group of ppl it is a no go.
  4. Just updated on 1.2.6 and can confirm what has been said, turning head makes the image stutter as hell (whatever is causing it is very annoying). And I definetly did not have any problems like that in 1.2.5 at all.
  5. I did not think of that at the time, but yea it should work.
  6. You may not be necessarily in a stall at 105kts depending on your weight and configuration. I use to do slow speed pass at 100-110kts only with MNV flaps without any stall. But AOA is high and you would most likely be draging your tail on the runway if landing (happened to me even without any damage to the wheels) and afterwards its very difficult to push the nose down because in slow speed elevators are not effective.
  7. Happened to me too, nose is indeed very light w/o any ammo so I trimm nose heavy very often. As for the speed you should be "On speed" - green donut shape symbol left od HUD - and VS less than 600 depending on weight. I have been even bounced back up by the air itself during landing. I was very light with slightly more speed than optimal and after in ground effect kicked in I found myself actualy climbing past touch down point so I had to go around.
  8. Yes, 1000 times yes. I belive this was discussed sometimes before even requested from ED but... It would be huge help for mission making.
  9. So more than a week later, why is this not fixed yet in latest released version? Not able to contaxt tanker is mission critical problem for me. It is so nice that you are working on wingtip wortex, engine smoke and whatnot (just effects, even if good), but I would rather see comms fixed.
  10. Interesting, can you enlighten me as to what is it ment by that exactly?
  11. While this is true there is also another point of view on this. When I started to fly this sim Ive spend like a week just reading manual and watching tutorials and learnig whatever I needed to fly (and I had lot of experience from before too). After that I went online and may have asked some specific questions about something (not how to start engines). So I have full respect and will to help ppl in this case. I dont however have will to help anyone who ask how to fly/start engine/whatever if they never saw manual - otherwise they would know. Just my take on newcomers.
  12. Ha, already disscused. Lazy me for not reading. *selfslap*
  13. Well explained thx, but that actualy my point here. Lets suppose that the default head/eye position is wrong and this mod fixed it so now we have correct view. Is there any way to 'recalibrate' the hud for this corrected view?
  14. You can always edit constraints in Server.lua I think, or even disable them. There are no constraints for experimenting with viwes.
  15. Great mod, even if im not actualy using it, it helped me to set up my own custom views. One question tho, Is there any way to make whole hud (A-10C) smaler (like if its projected further away) ? Because with view shifted somewhat, edges of the hud are dificult to see.
  16. I see, I get that too and Im realy conflicted about that effect. I dont know if its like that IRL, but from watching pilots do G test in centryfuges you can see that their head/body posture is same, up to the point where they GLOC. So their head does not slide down their neck which would explain that effect we see on the hud. Anyway, there is a box in controls somewhere about - head movements by G forces so maybe with that off....
  17. Wait a minute, by that definition you dont talk about wind drift because it only affects TVV and Pitch ladder from what I know. Are you talking about disappearing TOT and so when you are pulling Gs?
  18. Carefuly, dont get used to something you doing time and time again in the same conditions. The AAR is very dynamic proces there is no right sound of the engines, speed or throttle settings. If you will be tanking in different altitude, temperatures with different load/weight it will be different. BTW, I remember one of my first attempt at AAR. I was behind that tanker for about 30min and all I got by that time was 500lbs of fuel. I was sweating like a pig, after landing I had to take a shower. Ah that was good time. Now its just easy.
  19. This is just another update its not full release of Huey yet.
  20. Actualy from my experience the boom operator actualy is quite ok, he moves the boom a lot and try to contact/keep contact if you are still in decent position. Its the tanker **** pilot that moves the plane without notice.
  21. If you feel like its something wrong you can always use repair DCS function or uninstal and reinstal it again, no harm in that and it may maybe help. But yes I would say you will need to be little gentler with it. Not to worry you will get better by the minute. Ive trashed so many hueys I lost count. No easy way around that just... Practice, practice, practice
  22. So awesome, I wonder if it will be posiible (DM) to use it as battering ram. I can think of so many fun aplications. Huey dogfight anyone - kill the other guy using slingload :D
  23. Depending on what version you flying. There has been problem with this some time ago, but I think it was fixed or somewhat fixed because I no longer explode with harder landings (still do if I slam in in the ground realy hard). Try running autoupdater, see if it download something and helps. My current version is 1.2.4.12913 check it in main screen lower right corner. From 1.2.4.12913 update - DCS: UH-1H Huey Increased UH-1H durability after a hard landing (lowered explosion threshold).
  24. Yea its the first thing that will go if you take damage, I recal simmilar thread about flexible sight in huey. That is the first thing to go too if you take some minor damage. The DM is somewhat funky. Not that is is any kind of bug priority.
