Mosquito TM warthog and Crosswinds profile ?
Tzigy replied to jackd's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
No need for TARGET. Keep it simple. Set from within DCS, curves and all. Imho, more fun using the mouse to flip switches in ww2 birds... HOTAS for triggers, trims, flaps, boost only -

What Maps / Terrains are recommend for playing WW2 Warbirds?
Tzigy replied to v2tec's topic in DCS: The Channel
Wolfpack and Overlord servers are awesome. There are times u might find 30-40 peeps on OL, and its a great fun when ther is at least 10 on WP. I miss the variety of Il2, but after flying ww2 DCS for last year, it is so hard to go back to IL2... -
Srry , did not check this thread for a while! Don't remember re the specs. Talked to couple people there, they were fairly impressed.

Check out tge TM Ava base I'm quite impressed with it after some initial getting used to it... the precision is really excellent and I now i totally love it I got the small TM extension with it that allows you to offset the stick 15-30 degrees, I think almost perfect setup...

Just my two cents and I know that people would say they are better sticks out there but I have been a TM customer ever since their Cougar hit the market and their service has been exemplary; under warranty they would replace everything free including shipping a whole throttle quadrant at one point to Alaska. Out of warranty cost replacement parts and shipping very reasonable within EU, extra shipping cost to USA as expected...

Had no idea! Just tried again yesterday. Beautiful! The previous scheme was awful. Only one little criticism... the instrument casing material plastic really was mostly black. Not sure where the artists got their reference from. Depending on the manufacturer there were certainly some casings that were made from more of a reddish/ maroonish bakelite material but these were I believe few and far in between. But still, overall, magnificent!

I have not decided yet, i dont think I have an use for MR, until i built me an F4 or A10 pit !

Disclaimer: I pretty much fly WW2>F4>A10. F18 occnl case I landings... pretty sure the DDIs were fully functional, not sure about the MPCD. The only button I touched was the HMD brightness knob, I also reached and touched the hook and gear levers. The MR experience was amazing, i have to say, the transition between the physical and virtual world was impossible to notice in my brief 10-15 minutes session.

Went to the Somnium event in Prague on 7.12.24. Demoed VR1 w MR in a pretty cool F18 cockpit build. I own G2 but dont use it. 4k 48 OLED LG suits me better. I am not a VR gure/expert by any means. I was super impressed. There is no sweet spot. The whole damn thing is a sweet spot. I did not find it front heavy. It was super comfortable. Little hot after 15 minutes but could have been just the room temperature and also I was told the fans that were running only at 20%. Frames felt good, subjectively > 60. Caveat, fast map only. Did some quick BFM type flying, checking a high six quick frequently and the headset felt pretty great. Also super impressed with the company, quality of the build and their vision.

New SimHaptic for bass shakers works great!
Tzigy replied to Peedee's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Istalled and have been using for about a week. Luv it. Dont think will go back to Simshaker. Andre will always have a place in my heart, Buttkickers and his software revolutionized simming for me! But Simhaptic really rocks. Now if only some RL jet jobs drivers would helps us tweak all the effects, that would be incredible!! One can dream. Maybe the files our already outhere, I have not searched yet -

Recently my Shaker stopped working as well, what fixed it was to download and re-install the latest version of the Sound Module...
