  1. Much appreciated Been a busy couple of weeks bud, maybe next weekend when I get some time.
  2. Far be it from me, but I like to choose where my work is hosted ;)
  3. Please remove mine. Normal procedure would be to ask before you take another's work. Thanks.
  4. A little bit of fun with my 2 favourite DCS modules, streamed from my cockpit this afternoon :) (Start at 2m 30s)
  5. Looking good! I bet that Shark Mouth was fun...
  6. Cheers guys! Henrik is going to put something together and post up later. Those of you that like a good story will love what he has to offer. Honestly, I've never had more references for a skin...
  7. When we first heard about getting a Spitfire Mk IX for DCS, I was asked by a friend of mine (Henrik) about painting some Danish Spitfires... As ever, I said yes without realising the work involved... Henrik has done a great deal of research on the RDAF Spitfires, giving me a mountain of reference material to work from. We have all the original Camo pattern drawings, stencil placement and insignia dimensions and locations (As well as dozens of photos of the aircraft in question). The more we looked into these aircraft, the more we realised just how different they were... The standard factory camo was removed and painted with the RDAF's own pattern, all the stencils were re-done in danish, colours were different all over the aircraft etc... This one is going to be a mammoth task, but I thought it would be fun to keep a sort of 'Dev Diary' going as work progresses. Perhaps Henrik could chime in too with some of the other information he has found... Anyway, this is the first pass at the basic 'standardised' (but open to interpretation) RDAF camo
  8. Get me some photographs and other references and I'll do a few ;)
  9. Looks Great Jocko, look forward to using these when it's ready :)
  10. Hi ivo, If you can find me the references, I will be happy to skin it! I know Clostermann did have a MkIX withouth invasion stripes, but I believe it was a different aircraft. I believe the aircraft that I skinned replaced it, in fact. I have a profile below which I could work from, but I always like to work from photographs if possible to make my work as accurate as possible...
  11. Thanks Art, will take a look at that when I get chance. Cheers Snowsniper, stripes are available on my website if you want them :)
  12. Feel free to mention it to them - they're welcome to take the stripes and use them if they want to :)
  13. Cheers Jocko Version 2 uploaded
  14. Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback :)
  15. I'm aware that this one has already been skinned, but a friend requested that I had a go at this one for him, so here we are. This one features the brush painted invasion stripes, carefully washed away around the code letters and serial, as they were in July 1944. Available here: http://virtual-horsemen.com/cmdownloads/
  16. To save time duplicating efforts, I thought I would share some of the work I've done so far for the Spitfire Mk IX... Please feel free to use these in your work if they will help you :) Anything that anybody wants to share is always greatly appreciated :) Here are the invasion Stripes (Both full and half stripes, brush painted and sprayed included): http://virtual-horsemen.com/cmdownloads/spitfire-mk-ixc-invasion-stripes-for-skinners/ And here are the corrected roundels for the Mk IX: http://virtual-horsemen.com/cmdownloads/spitfire-mk-ixc-corrected-roundels-for-skinners/ As I do more bits and pieces, I will share here in this thread. Any requests, please let me know and I will do what I can...
  17. Hi Neil, Yes, it's definitely doable, but would require some materials editing on the model to do so.
  18. Working on some modern restored and wartime invasion stripes for our Spitfire... And the modern...
  19. Hi Westr, Sorry, I only just saw your message. I'm holding off on releasing anything until we have the official template from ED. Once we have that, there's a few things that I want to correct and then we're good to go :) Would like to share this one taken by VPS_Mermin of myself and Kestrel flying a 2 ship aerobatic routine last night:
  20. Had some fun with her last night...
