  1. Can we expect the Mk IX Template to be released with the initial release? Lots of skins I would love to make for this one and I can't wait to get started! :)
  2. A quick clip from a rehearsal last week (Me with the orange Gretsch)
  3. Round two! This weekend, Ed Shipley of the Bremont Horsemen flew the VEAO simulations P-40F Kittyhawk with the Oculus rift on our stand at Flying Legends: It was fantastic to meet up with all the Horsemen pilots over the weekend once again :)
  4. Cheers Pixel :)
  5. Been messing around with some home recording this afternoon :)
  6. Great to fly with you, Shadoh :)
  7. Part of the enjoyment of flying the P-51 in DCS is that it's constantly changing throughout the flight as the fuel burns off. When we fly The Horsemen routine, there is one loop at the start of the display and one near the end. The process for flying each of these loops is slightly different as the fuel from the left wing tank is used up. If we're doing a practice flight flying multiple routines, we will alternate from Left to Right wing tank fuel after each practice, to try and keep the aircraft better balanced.
  8. Galloping Ghost was fitted with a 'boil off' system and I believe Strega has a Spray bar set up
  9. Here is the first episode of what I hope will become a regular blog series on the Virtual Horsemen website. The blog will follow us as a team, through our trainings, shows and lives outside of DCS - "A real team does more than just fly together!" In the first issue, we look at one particular question: Why 'The Horsemen'? http://virtual-horsemen.com/ep-1-why-the-horsemen/
  10. 4 years later and we still love flying this thing!
  11. All footage is taken from our flight, live at the Virtual-Aerobatics.Com 3 Year Anniversary airshow. This routine replicates the display flown by the Bremont Horsemen Flight Team at Houston, Texas in 2010. Flying Lead: Rob 'Rock' Brindley Right Wing: Pete 'Pman' Collins Left Wing: James 'Kestrel' Read We would like to extend our thanks to Chris ' STRIKER' Curtiss of the the Patriots Jet Team for narrating our display and to Wijndel 'Wine' Albertsma for the streaming us.
  12. Unfortunately, we always pick the weekend closest to our date of founding (Feb 16th). Replays will be available and the show goes on until midnight tonight so there's plenty of time! :)
  13. Starting live today at 14:00 GMT with the Virtual Blue Impulse! Watch live here: http://www.twitch.tv/virtualairshows
  14. The 2016 virtual air show season is just around the corner! This years event features 15 formation aerobatic teams and 13 solo participants from around the world, flying a variety of both real world and fictional routines. 15. No plans to release - it's just to lead VH with
  16. First test of our P-51C in DCS 2.0 :)
  17. Thank you guys :) We couldn't be happier with Chuck's work :)
  18. Thank you guys - we appreciate all your support :) All it takes is a little time, practice and dedication. Pman, who usually flies on the right wing in our team, had no formation flying experience when I first met him. After 9 months of hard work, he was the official right wing pilot for our team. It's doable if you have the motivation to stick with it :)
  19. Thank you guys, we couldn't be happier with Chuck's work :)
  20. It is with great pleasure that we can release our F-86 Sabre promo. Over the last several weeks, we have been working with a fantastic talent on the production of this video. Chuck_Owl has made a reputation within both the DCS & IL-2 communities for producing high quality movies. Those of you that know and follow the real Bremont Horsemen will know that James Horner, the composer, was often referred to as 'The Fourth Horsemen' - Chuck certainly fills that gap within our team.
