Which helo.....the variant of the Ka-25 that I'm thinking of... the radome is for periscope detection... You may be thinking of the UK Helo Awacs solution developed after the Falklands War. Sea King AEW http://navy-matters.beedall.com/images/seaking-aew2.jpg -
Gotta buy and build your own... It's the only way to do it. Invest 15 hours of reading for a skill that you will use somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 times in your life. Price wise you can't beat it either, you'll have power supplies and hard drives, a case, etc to carry over to future builds... Get some knowledge, get a complete run down of what you think you want and we'll go over it with you. Here's what you may or may not need... Motherboard Processor RAM GPU Power Supply Hard Drive Optical Drive Case Mouse/Keyboard Operating System Thermal Grease- 6$ CPU Heatsink and Fan (important if overclocking) Monitor Sound Card Speakers/Headphones Shipping Costs

It is indeed Chinchilla... They're highly dangerous, one of the few mammals that are venomous and can understand human speech. They hail from Peru and parts of Lapland. The Peruvians obviously have trained this one to fly... very dangerous... Check his right paw, he has three kills already... -
Yeh ive seen this page before... would like to know also if anyone has ordered

Hey... in my hardware review rounds I came across this X-52 Pro Review. The first couple of sentences made me nearly fall out of my seat. Mind you, I'm an exceedingly happy X-52 owner and user.... http://techgage.com/article/saitek_x-52_pro_flight_control_system/

Oh jesus... here we go.... -
You have a good HSF there... If temps do become an issue try lapping the bottom of the heatsink with some wet dry sandpaper, that'll be good for a couple of degrees... Try and see if you can get another 80mm fan across from the other 80mm fan, and even better, if theres airflow at the very front, put another 120mm up front. I'm assuming the inside looks like this
-
You wont blow your chip... by now you know where you need to be Vcore wise is between 1.35v-1.48v and thats the real issue often How's your Vdroop Blaze? Mines still kind of bad, even after a Vdroop Mod, I might try a different pencil soon... Some Diagnostic programs that are vital Orthos - For loading your CPU (use smallftt at priority 9 for CPU) CoreTemp - For monitoring Temps on both cores CPU-Z - For general in windows confirmation of your settings PCProbe-2 - Shows true volts well, thats about it Clockgen - if you ever want to up FSB in windows (PLL control CY28551 for your board probably) Whats your heatsink and fan again Blaze? This will be key... my personal "will not go higher than" loaded temp is 68c... And remember, the first time your computer hard boots, dont freak out! lol ... just hit that delete key and back it down.

Good Price Ice!... and yeh, throw in a 8B Graphite Pencil.... perfect VDroop modding ones motherboard! lol

I understand the trepidation, I was there a year ago... but I put my time in and now I have a an e6400 @ 3.75Ghz... Theres some luck to that though. Just start slowwwwwwly and know what effect changes make. and here's a small disclaimer...im not responsible for breaking anything! lol Just relax and have fun with it... It's really easy once you get your feet planted.
-
Zone alarm? as in the software firewall program? lol.... I highly recommend overclocking only from the bios. It's really the only way to go. Just go in there right now and look around. Go read some and then look again.... Build up some knowledge then change something.. start slow and then start changing some values Here's a start... Read this entire thread, this Asus mobo is the little brother of yours... http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=115217

Be playing as soon as my little brother is done perfecting it... AI is decently smart in places

Once the Ultra-120 Extreme, Ultima-90, or the IFX-14 comes out it should be available in Portugal through bacata.net... http://www.bacata.net/ 130w TDP will need some nice cooling, even at 3.0Ghz... The main thing is to leave yourself room for voltage raises, you never know what kind of chip you'll get. LC has a good reputation?... are they a full company or do they rebrand with a well known OEM? Multiplier for Qx6700 is open above 10x... Sound great for a 975x -
Also Willy... delete the TrackIr .ini from the LockOn input and config folders... this may be an issue

Oooo i love these threads! 2 months is a long time but it looks great, some impressions though... -QX67000 Extreme (quad) 2.66GHz As stated the price drops and 2 core 1333 FSB changes may come into effect here. -Motherboard still to define but probably an Nvidia 680i chipset or intels 965 if price still is an issue by may. Yep, who knows how bearlake will be, but it will be there... I still wouldn't get 680i... right now I would get a 965 that stays on the 1066 strap..or a 975x (especially if the Q6700 multiplier is high.) -Tuniq Tower 120 cooler Cooling a quad is a huge deal, especially it seems in Portugal Get the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme, I just wrote a review comparing it's pre-production "little brother" the ULtima-90 vs the Tuniq... Read it here http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=137838 -BFG NVIDIA 8800GTS 320 (giving emphasis on CPU, GFX comes second on my budget) I think the whole gammut of R600's are being released at once so see what they have to offer too... -2 GIG's of RAM DDR2 800 (for taking the proc up to 3 GHz and beat the E6800 in single threaded apps, will buy 2 more GIG's later, letting my budget breathe for a while) Whats the multiplier on a Q6700? And i kid you not... DDR3 was at CeBit and is in the hands of several people and may be in play two months from now... and btw... dont RAM prices make you want to vomit? -Probably 3XWestern Digital 320 GB HD, 2 on RAID0, and 1 for backup of my media and doc's Only place to go for Hard drive info http://www.storagereview.com/php/benchmark/bench_sort.php -LC Power 550W PSU, unless Im advised to get something bigger (Huge price difference from there up) No need for anything bigger, just wondering about the stability on the rails, Amps on the 12v Rail, ripple, etc... refer to this thread. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=108088 Refresh this thread when the time comes near Pilotasso! -

Walter is right.... The PSU is not something to be skimped on, it could be considered the heart of a computer. The great thing is, is that there are plenty of really good ones at great prices. Follow the links that walter put up and here's another. look at " Official XS Tiered PSU...." http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=177 Also man... if you can hold out for a few more weeks there are mad Intel price drops supposed to be coming -
Can it be done? :joystick:
