Yeh a B-61 would do the trick alright.... Ok I ran a test this morning with the Su-25a... using the BetAB-500SHP, RBK-500, KMGU-2 (both types) It seems for pure "you're going to die if you takeoff or land on this" nothing beats the BetAB-500... However the RBK-500 does an excellent job, but I could land and then repair the damage... very tricky landing The KMGU damage was clear but the lateral runway damage footprint seemed too narrow (when aligned firmly with runway centerline.) Just my thoughts... I didnt test ripple rates too much...

Bomb for Bomb do you think clusters (do you mean Mk-20's) are better than BetAB-500sp? How are the Russian fixed canister cluster munitions on runways? ever test? No... the key word is "convey"... Not sure what others have said before but beyond having dual monitors on both ends... communication to hearing impaired individuals is through "alt-m" in game. The dictate option would be awesome though... hopefully in the future

Ventrilo Tutorial This Tutorial will teach users how to do the following A) Switch Channels while in game B) Whisper to all channels while in game C) Explain the TTS function while in chat A) How to switch channels while in game After Joining a Ventrilo server click on the Bindings section (looks like this "->") at the very upper left of ventrilo. - Click "new" and name your new key binding file - Select function as "Switch Channel" - Select what channel you would fist like to bind under "channel name." Example-> 3Sqn/Studs/1 - Select the "bind key" that will execute the channel switch. Example -> "NUMPAD1" - Click "Add" - Lastly, repeat the above procedure for each Channel you would like to switch to B) How to Whisper to all channels while in game - In the same profile, under function, select "Push-to-talk, Advanced" - Transmit style should = "Channel and all sub-channels" - Channel names(s) = the root channel of the channels you would like to talk to. Example for RedFlag RedFor would be "3Sqn/Studs"... dont forget to add (looks like this "<- Add") the channel. - Finally press "add" on the main bindings screen - Done I don't purport this to be the best tutorial ever written, just hop on 3Sqn Ventrilo and try it... it is not rocket science and someone will be around to help (including your flight leads.) 3Sqn Vent: 66.228.121.146 Port Number = 9513 Password = barbie C) The TTS function The TTS function will allow you to hear typed text in the chat box while you are in game. It is very handy in allowing hearing impaired pilots to convey messages to their flight. Will your website be back up by 19zulu today? If not it might be good to bounce over to another forum. 159th leadership... if they can't get back up can we use the 159th Forum? 2) Allochtoon will be the only non-squadron player in a RedFor Mig-29S, 504th would you like to have them in your Mig-29 flight? 3Sqn could utilize his experience as well. 3) If you have a plan, raise your hand now, and prepare to submit it to your fellow flights once a website home is reconfirmed. Prepare also to submit final waypoints by this Friday. 4) Have you prepared for effective multi-channel Ventrilo communication? ReFor flight Leads, if I may make a reccomendation, the comm call of "On Guard...." is a good phrase to alert the network that you're talking to all channels. Example --> "Devil Flight on Guard... Ok Jake.... relax What I meant in starting this mainly is that it's a waste of nice aerial textures, models, explosions etc... This i wont back down on though... the narration's in the previous games are nearly sickening

Hi gents... Been out of town helping my family move into a new house. Real life makes you sweat like Lock On can't. My my... I like red flag... I really like it. I think 60+ also like it... and 5 have some small issues, but even they like it... We'll all learn from each round... lets save it for the recap that will happen on 7/02...

Just a note about organization... Paploo is out for this Red Flag with unforeseen circumstances. Yoda will be flying A.S.'s wing... and A.S. is now the coordinator for RvE and Pap's place should be filled through other RvE pilots... Laud.... I'm sure 159th_Fudd will talk about this decision, but I think the decision was more about balance (this time.) Much was said about having deeper strikes and CAPS in the next Red Flag... this is the case... The flights will be much longer. Look at the flying time, I doubt that any Mig-29 will have 6 R-77's... It will be more like 5 or 4 with external fuel tanks... I can see where you're coming from though... It's a good observation Laud, and one that was thought of
