  1. Hi, just checked today morning on amazon (.com) and the hp reverb is again in stock , new item sold and shipped by amazon . This should be a good news as maybe Hp has figured out what the problem was and we have good chances these new units are working properly , this in addition to emails sent out by hp to those customers who have recently returned their headsets back to Hp which has provided dates for estimated shipping while before they only offered a refund.
  2. actually cpu affinity can be checked from task manager, there is no need to use process lasso, you can also change the cpu affinity as well.
  3. how many fps with a 8700/9700k , 32gb of ram and a 2080ti????
  4. well in most of the cases HP offered a full refund as no replacement date was available, in your case you will receive a new unit by half august which is indeed good news imho. Pls keep us posted :thumbup:
  5. I would directly upgrade to a 2080ti, unless you don't want to go for second hand 2080ti, preferably asus rox strix oc which is the best 1080ti ever built.;)
  6. where did you read that? from last OP statment Nvidia confirmed to RMA the card, if the gpu is stucked at 300mhz sureley is defective, there are hundreds of youtube in this regard. :)
  7. I am just tallking about the win10 installation process, as to DCS download of course time depens on internet connection but you can simply copy the entire dcs folder to a backup hardisk before formattin/reinstalling windows and when installation is complete just copy/paste dcs folder to your desired drive.
  8. I am using it so far withouth problems, when you install it please be sure to selecte dcs executable file from "bin" folder under c:/dcs world/bin/dcs.exe
  9. Even if its possible I would never do it, installing WIN10 take about 10 minutes + 10 minutes for gpu/chipset/audio/usb devices drviers etc
  10. NIGHT light has been broken since 2.5 introduction, tough there are some settings in the graphichs.lua you can edit which I cant recall as of now unfortunatelly.
  11. The future of clarity and resolution is HP reverb when they'll fix their hadrware issues, untill then it's worthless to spend money unless you have 5000 euro for a XTAL HMD
  12. its definitely a defective gpu.
  13. Man I am having exactly the same problem..for a fraction of second everything seem to be slow down....it really kills the immersion.... you could try this one and check the results, what are your pc specs?
  14. Could'nt agree anymore, my 8700k@5.0 ghz reaches 65°c with my Noctua nh-d15:smilewink:
  15. current HP reverb batch is suffering of hardware issues which have not been recognized by HP itself but the community is well aware. There is no official statment from HP but the majority of reverb's owners have returned the items to HP which offered a 50 $ discount if they intended to re-buy it once availble (no availability date as we speak).
  16. Is there any official statment from HP regarding the hardware issues?? :music_whistling::music_whistling:
  17. +1 I totally agree, it is an amazing piece of software , incredible easy and efficient:thumbup::thumbup:
  18. for degree minutes seconds decimal seconds just press alt+y whilst on f10 map to swith between various coordinates types. I use DCSWaypointEditor/README.md at master · Santi871/DCSWaypointEditor · GitHub
  19. there are many threads on the subject, in order to have a smooth head movement when paning around, you must limit fps to 60 by using msi riva turner or nvidia inspector.
  20. I've tried the software you've mentioned but it only adds minutes and seconds, the degree are set to 0° instead of the captured coordinates, something is wrong. I've tried this with the waypoings whilst in hsi on the main central AMPCD...:mad: edit : I've figured it out, I was manualy setting the HSI mode to precise, but actually I shouldn't have done that but rather just leave the central MPCD to default HSI mode and then capture the waypoint from the f10 map with default lctrl+T untill I have 8 waypoints then simply click on "add to aircraft" and everthing will be done automatically. This software is AMAZING!!!
  21. I select PP1 starting from station 8 untill i entered the first 4 targets coordinates, then i press osb button for PP2 again starting from station 8 for the remaining 4 targets. As for weapon deplyoment : how do I set all station "back" in PP1 ? I also read in another thread that I have to SET all station on PP1 but how do I do that?
  22. Thanks for your last so what is the correct sequence for inputing PP1 and PP2 and what is the correct pickel sequence? this is driving me crazy:mad::doh:
  23. Hi all, I read all the threads and posts on the subject but I cant really figure out how to hit 8 targets with 8 jsow I set PP1 for the first 4 targets by inputing coordinates starting from station 8 then station 2 -> station 7 -> station 3 then i set PP2 for the remaining 4 targets , again starting from station 8-> station->2 ---> station 7 - > station 3 Then in flight i selected PP1 , and start pickle from station 8 , when i fired up the firts 4 missiles i switched to PP2 and picke the remaining 4 missiles. Then I've observed the missile impact but only hit 4 targets as the missiles fired from PP2 hit the targets inserted for PP1... I am bit confues on how am I supposed to hit 8 targets. P.S. : the 8 targets had 8 differents coordinates of course. :pilotfly::cry::cry::cry:
  24. cant wait for left/right weapon update for jsow, as of now it is basically impossible to correctly use all the 8 bombs in a correct Pre-planned way.
