well you can't compare VEAO and Razbam with all due respecte wtf are you talking about dude? Has razbam ever gave up and disappeared?no, they have released solid products over the years and they keep updating them . As for HB so far they have only released the vigen, that's it.

afghanistan is not gonna be free as already in development by 3rd parties, I hope crimea as part of Caucasus would be awesome!

My apologise I read to fast and tought you said never used gsync with vsync, didnt read you meant no vsync in game. Anyway I see no different between the 2 options, either you use vsync from nvpanel only or from game only the behaviour of smoothnes looks identical to me. Again my apologise for having been so rude against you.

EMH....dude, with all due respect I read hundreds of threads and pages about gsync and vysnc...and you have no idea about what you're talkign about. Gsync always work in conjuction with vsync.. following is the best gsync forum in the world where hundreds of scientific and proper tests have been carried out to check gsync beahaviour, input lag, vsync, fps framtetime, etc etc etc etc.... https://www.blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync101-input-lag-tests-and-settings/ and the howtogeek page you posted....well let me put it this way : "it's complete garbage".

I hope its gonna be vulkan api other than that I see no other advantages in tersm of performance, oh and well the dedicated server would be awesome as well.

hey mate...I will give it a try but honestly I think the jittery will be still there...unless fps are capped!! edit: tried ou as cabzi suggested....its even worse than having the fps capped as 60...plus as per cabzi' instruction he disabled vsync completely...which is a pain in the ass honestyly...... there is no cure for this expect having fps set at max 60:)
-
nahhh 59 is crap imho....60 is the way to go
-
nope, normal jostick no force feedback. The issue with ffb and trackir was very well known many years ago with dcs 1.2...but that's been 6 years ago when gsync did not eve exist. Imho it is trackir hadrware related issue in conjuction with high refresh rate of modern monitors that did not exist when trackir was created. Therefore there is no solution rather than caping dcs at 60 fps or having the game capable to run always equal or above 120 fps. With dcs 1.5 I did not have this problem as the I could always run in every situation at costant 140-165 fps.

hi bro its been long time, how you doin? -
so what do you mean by this uh? :music_whistling:

If I disable trackir and use a hat switch on my joystick or any other device such as a normal keyboard for moving around in the cockpit, everything will be abosolutely smooth from 60 up to 100000 fps. If instead I use trackir it will result in jittery effect when moving around unless the output is a stable locked 60fps, or 120 or higher. 60 ~ 120 = jittery

By the way, what is all about this DUD?what does it mean?
-
Or simply change weapon and you will be out of ACM
-
for those with low ram ie less than 32gb which are facing problems you could use this tool developed by same guy of DDU https://www.wagnardsoft.com/content/intelligent-standby-list-cleaner-v1000-released
-
emh....Clear Virtual Memory Pagefile is not very reccomended on modern hadrware anymore... the other thing you could use is just a tool to clean up standbymemory which is a bug in win 10 https://www.wagnardsoft.com/content/intelligent-standby-list-cleaner-v1000-released
-
I removed my pagefile which was manually set to 32000 mb on my main nvme ssd drive C:\ , set it back to be managed automatically by windows and I am not facing anymore CTD.... who knows what the culprit is.....and now I can fly again with reshade and 0 problems.
-
I have previously set pagefile on my samsung evo 970 evo to a swap of 32gb and it was causing sudden CTD for some reasons, I know switched back to "let windows control it automatically", and no more crashes.

Help with performance please! (and Project Lasso)
Goa replied to DUSTY's topic in Game Performance Bugs
honestly I havent found any evidence after months of testing that process lasso or cpubalance improves in anyway the responsivness of my machine. With or witouht process lasso, disabling or enabling hyperthreading has no effect at all on my end. The only software I use from lasso is parckcontrol ( https://bitsum.com/parkcontrol/ ) , you might want to take a look at that :) -
yeah probably they had to decrease the quality in order to achieve a better all performance. With all of these trees in the caucaus map it's not simple to have decent performance, but I'd rather like to have the otion to choose what kind of details/quality of trees I want to see via in-game option. This is same as for the shadows in cockpit which can be improved via .lua editing but it doesnt pass IC online. either way, trees in some situation looks very degradeted in terms of "quality". I hope will be one day fixed by getting back same quality we've seen at the begining of 2.5 tease videos :)

I get this in instanct action for AAR refueling, not using VR simple 2d plain.

best solution i found after intensive months of tests : leave refresh rate at maximum supported by your monitor , i.e 144hz, gsync on both fullscreen and window /vsync disabled in game and ON under nvidia control panel / set maximum performance under nvcp as well. Then limit your fps with msi rivaturner or as I am doing now I am using nvidia inspector to cap fps at 60 with V2 version all off. Sometime ago I also found usefeull to open graphic.lua and delete the line of max_fps=180, I have completeley deleted that line and save the file. Doing so , as other have experienced, seems to get the game a bit smoother  p.s. : always remember to leftalt + enter once you're in cockpit to siwtch to fullscreen.
