I've already used a scalpel to cut it off. I now have another problem. Don't know if I've done anything wrong. When The slider is centered. The reported value is below 512 or 50%. What could be wrong? :)

Hey gents. I use the "trim wheel" on the throttle as an analog zoom in most aircrafts I fly in DCS. I've noticed that the sliders potentiometer started acting up a bit. When the values of the slider were more than 512. The sliders input started to "bounce" +-1 even when I didn't move it. This wouldn't really bother me that much, but when I'm in the virtual pit, I can see the "pumping" occurring because of this problem and it's hard to ignore. So I decided to contact TM support. They've sent me the replacement potentiometer but of course I have to exchange it myself. Another thing I've noticed after opening up the throttle. The potentimeter isn't really solid in place. It moves a bit with the slider. Don't know if this is normal, does anyone know? Anyways, here are two pictures of the insides of the throttle. The leftmost switch on the first picture is what I have to plug out. But It's molded in some kind of plastic. What's the best way to get that off?

While I was searching for the simpeds, I bumped the review from thor and now that I've watched it, I really want these pedals. I have a question though. I am mainly a helicopter "pilot", has anyone tried these with the Ka-50 and other modules and can comment on how they feel? I have got the Saitek Pro Flight rudder pedals and while I think they're decent, I don't think they're up to par with my TM Warthog.

Yes, it is related. And I've figured out the thing about going to the mission editor and opening the mission. But it doesn't really fix the problem, even if save the loadout, the gunners still don't appear if I try to run the mission from the training menu. I have to run the mission from the mission editor for the gunners to be there. EDIT: Ok, this works as it's supposed to now.

It seems that the weapon deployment mission is bugged. When the narrator asks to change yourself to the right door gunner position using the [3] key. The first thing that's wrong is that the right gunner position is default [4] key. The second thing that's wrong is. There are actually no gunners in the helicopter, instead the helicopter has rockets installed on the M23 panels. The last thing that's wrong is. When you actually press [3] key consecutively, the helicopter will fire rockets from the right side rocket launcher, even when weapon arm switch is in the safe position. Anyone else has this weird problem? I've tried uninstalling and installing mission again, but no luck.

Hey peeps! I've been wondering where I can get the latest flight manuals for my DCS titles. I've checked the documentation folder under the All programs folder. But only things I see there are DCS Su-25T Flight Manual, User manual and DCS World readme. I remember the manuals always being in this folder. I did go to the download page for the documentation, but all I can get for the Ka-50 is an old 2008 manual, which Is fine I guess but where are the newer manuals?

The master server is indeed up. But I don't see and can't connect to any server even by using connect by IP.

I'm using the exact model you're mentioning. Intel 330 180GB, so far it's working great and the performance is awesome for the price. Don't know why anyone wouldn't want one. The only thing that bothers me is the size. 180GB really isn't that much. If I'd go for a SSD now, I'd definitely buy 250GB I'd suggest this SSD atm: Samsung SSD 840 series 250GB. Quite a bang for the buck.

This is good news, I was looking at the Dell U2913WH monitor that has an 21:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 2560x1080. Now that you've told me this, I just might consider buying it :)

Just a quick question guys. Does DCS support single monitor 21:9 Aspect ratio?

Are the profiles in options.lua?

I basically took the whole Saved Games/DCS directory from G: drive (old disc) and copyed it to Saved Games/DCS directory on C: drive (new disk). Before that I did a new install of DCS World of course.

But I've already overwritten the whole folder. And the keybinds didn't change :(

I bought a new SSD disk and installed the game on the disk. I'm wondering, which file must I copy from the old disk, so that I can have my keybinds set as I had them set before the new disk. I need an answer fast :P
