Good looking Albatros :) Is ED still accepting models donated by the community, or is that a thing of the past? Wasnt the current Tornado model donated by someone in the community?

...I always expect ED's titles to be great, but they still manage to surprise me. This looks incredible, the A-10 looks awesome, but we already knew that, what really caught my attention this time around was the sweet Strike Eagle :D

Well, seeing as it isnt very far from Nellis, I guess it should be modeled, however I doubt getting relevant data to model it correctly will be very easy.

Id like my DCS: Hornet now please :P

If you use LODs there shouldnt be much of a problem. But even if you dont, I would much rather have a great looking high poly model that makes my system sweat than something low poly.

That is awesome :) Will you be able to provide some step by step shots as well? I just cant seem to wrap my head around how to make a decent looking canopy :P

That is actually a great idea, I do however understand if people are reluctant to put their models up for everybody to download, but as you say, it would be a great way to learn.

Well, if we dont have any clue about what is going on with FO then that's the FO teams own fault. They are supposed to wow us, and make us want to buy their product, not have us pay to see a couple of old 3d renders... Have a look at ED for instance, the producer's note really get me hyped up for their products, if they on the other hand made us pay for a couple of 3d renders, and never showed us anything in game then I probably wouldnt even bother being on these forums.

If its something like Falcon 5, then I would welcome it, if its another half assed mod that doesnt work online, then I say let it die... But I guess Falcon wont die as long as it has a near fanatical fan base that are willing to overlook all of its flaws. Lets hope that we get DCS Viper soon.

I think all of it still looks very 1990-ish, and I agree that it is time for the Falcon to die...

There are a number of ways, the ones I use the most are the "cut tool" and the "connect tool".

Seriously... What youre seeing above the pilots head is NOT a vertical stabilizer, but a line on the canopy, have a look at this photo for a better view of it. But I guess the photo is fake as well... :P

Hehe, that might be, I just hope that the F-22 demo team wont bring their commentator along to RIAT in a couple of weeks :P Im really looking forward to seeing the F-22, but I could do without the "land of the free, protectors of freedom"-speeches and the way too loud rock music ;)

What gave you that impression? I have'nt read any posts where the poster says that their not going to buy DCS: Warthog unless vapor effects are added... I have bought every single ED product, and Im going to continue buying their products, but I certainly would like to see the addition of vapor effects.

This thread wasnt about wing flex... I too think its about time vapor is added to DCS, it really does add ALOT to the immersion. Flanker 2 had some great vapor effects, for its time, to bad they were dropped for Lock-On, but now its time to bring them back! ;)
