They will!

We are proud to announce our Kickstarter collaboration with Monstertech! Their mounts will be compatible with he Button Box from Total Controls. There will also be a few perks in the Kickstarter campaign where mounts are included. And yes, the vertical mount will be adjustable.
-
I noticed just the other day that the status button on the UHF-radio is broken. It can not be clicked since last update.
-
Developer update: Today we decided to go for a full metal body for the box. This will give it a steadier feel and a better finish. We aim to deliver a top quality product at release.
-
Design phase completed! After trying out hundreds buttons and switches we have finally decided and we can now show you the final design of the Multi Function Button Box. All that is left now are software and testing. After that our Kickstarter campaign will be live! Keep an eye out on the homepage http://www.totalcontrols.eu. Well, since you don't seem to get the bug, here is a video for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9qh1iOujFI Using 2.5.5.41371. Happens on a fresh install as well. I don not say that I don't know how to assign the axis, I'm reporting a bug.
-
Well, you don't seem to get the problem. Step by step here: I click controls I choose my module. (In this case UH-1H) I select Axis commands in the drop down I choose the right cell I click "Axis assign" Nothing happens. No window pops up. If i double click the cell, the window pops up. I really rally deoubt this is a local problem. EDIT! I discovered this bug when guiding a new DCS user with a fresh install and he couldn't get this to work. He had EXACTLY the same bug. EDIT2: This occurred when inside the game, not from the main screen settings.
-
Experienced the same problem in Huey yesterday. Latest DCS-version. Try double-click the cell and the assign window should pop up. So, in my opinion, this is a genuine bug.

There will be an angled mount for Monterteck stands. I think that would solve that wish.
-
Yes, it will be the same size as the TM WH throttle. We are looking in to a vertical mount of some sort. Many have asked about that.

The Multi Function Button Box from Total Controls gives you a clear advantage in the skies. Designed with VR in mind it reduces the need for mouse inputs in DCS World. Featuring the most used functions from the F/A-18C Hornet Up Front Controller and the characteristic Data Control Switch from the F-16C Viper the Multi Function Button Box lets you focus on flying. It also features gear- and hook-handle, jettison button, seven light knobs, two rotary encoders with push function for the radios and two misc buttons that can be programmed to do whatever you like! See more at the official web page: totalcontrols.eu/ Follow on Facebook: facebook.com/totalcontrols First of all: thanks for your patience. We would love to have done this quite some time ago. But now the day has arrived. Tomorrow, the 12th of September, at 20.00 CET we launch! Be sure to check in early. There will be some great perks for the early birds. That's my plan. Not sure what type of glue to use yet. Buttons are attached. :smilewink: Buttons.pdf

Dobber-switch will be longer. Waiting on a friend to 3D-print a stick. TI thought of those as well, but ran out of space. I manage those functions from the TM warthog. The big connector is just a over sized USB connection for pass trough. I thought it might look cool, but seems just to bulky as it is.
-
Thank you! Those were the functions I thought might reduce the need for mouse inputs.

So, I've just finished my latest project, a F/A-18C style UFC button box with some F-16 features. The box has a full set of keys for the UFC keypad and option buttons. HDG and CRS momentary switches. Radio rotary encoders with push. Formation and position light knobs. Two misc buttons Five light knobs Hook handle Landing Gear handle Jettison button A 4-way "dobber"-switch The box is driven by a Leobodnar BU0836X 12-Bit Joystick Board and a Arduino Micro. Inside it has a small USB-hub. The box is roughly the same size as the TM Warthog throttle and fits nice next to it. I fly in VR and this box lets me keep my hand on the stick in most cases. Any thoughts and suggestions for improvement?

So what you’re saying is that this might be fixed? Or should I trade it in for a Reverb?
-
Long thread and this might have been answered before. Just got my Index, upgrading from CV1, and I’m experiencing some annoying graphic issues. 1. When in a high speed dogfight there target plane seems to be ghosting a lot. Almost as if it was two planes. 2. When looking out on the sidewinder on the wingtips of the F-16 in a turn they seem to “break off”. Just not keeping up with the high speed turn. 3. Very small sweet spot imho. This actually makes me want to revert to the Oculus again. I have set the refresh rate to 90 Hz in SteamVr and motion smoothing is on. Running a 2080ti.

We flew a night ops mission yesterday and pilots of other ACs did not see any external light on Tomcats on the server. The F-14 pilots saw the lights according to themselves.
-
Much activity on the Facebook page. Here are some photos. Courtesy of Winwing. They are really looking good. the shipped stick will be black if I'm not mistaking.

Well, this mission is cerater by ED... No mavs onboard. Just laser bombs as intended by default.
-
Track is attached. (Replayed the mission with same error) Can be found here_ https://varvat.se/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/jtac_fail.trk

This is NOT a mission editor problem! The mission I fly is one created by ED. The comms with the JTAC is a DCS World problem. The communications is stuck in a loop in the mission. JTAC wont assign me to new target and i can't get a valid target even after checking out and in again. When I ask for targets i get the "Readback correct"-reply. Wrong answer in other words.
-
So, I just flew a new ED mission with the F/A-18. A mission with GBU-12's and LATRIN. I checked in to JTAC and made one bomb run. On the second tasking request I got stuck at the 9-line readback. The JTAC keeps repeating the 9-line. If I say that I can't comply, the JTAC replies "Readback correct". Can not get out of this loop. Sometimes I have no reply at all and forces to change radio from radio 2 to radio 1.
