  1. Yes I don’t know what is correct actually. But our QA kept asking me to change it so I changed it into having standard barometric altitude as reference, which is what introduced the bug (now fixed) that the HUD would align to a different altitude reference (standard but in reference with indicated).
  2. Afterburner flameout question That’s not what I meant. I was referring to not being able to fix it. Edit: I realize I was unclear.
  3. Afterburner flameout question Not forgotten just down-prioritized Edit: I have looked into it but couldn’t find what the issue was and had to divert my attention elsewhere
  4. It might be interesting to know that programming effort for Viggen is (my) estimate a little short of the original Quake 1, both considering codesize and man hours (programming).
  5. There will always be details that doesn’t work 100% right since nothing is perfect. If you are waiting for perfect software the timeframe is ∞
  6. I’ve implemented the logic but hasn’t connected it yet with DCS (key press, clicking) and also I need to check what happens if you fire all missiles and for example press the FRAMSTEGN or try to fire again. So some more work remains. Also make sure it works properly.
  7. Small brain - programming with IDE Large brain - programming with butterflies Transcended brain - programming through QR-code
  8. Rb04 always fly straight ahead, a target waypoint or not wont have any effect. And they have radar altimeters. Rb15 does an terminal evasive maneuver, Rb04 don’t.
  9. Stream is over! 7 made it to the end but we where as many as 11 at one point!
  10. The changes is related to lift at low alpha in the lower supersonic range (which makes it a little slower) and also a bug in afterburner code at high supersonic speed. Top speed shouldn’t be dramatically affected hopefully. Btw Wikipedia is the only source I’ve seen mentioning that AJS would pass Mach 2. Everything else points to a lower top-speed but it’s overall quite difficult to tell.
  11. I’ve found the bug with the speed wall. Adjusted acceleration a bit too esp m1.0-1.5
  12. It’s been already addressed and adjustments will be in next patch
  13. Since the vote was a tie I rolled an online dice and counted from the top between the two and and it landed on IR FRAMSTEGN.
  14. To add to this there is also IP consideration. But I guess that, depending on who you ask, might not be an issue at all [emoji23]
  15. Can you tell me exactly how long they fall off the target?
  16. Yes that's what I was referring to. Could be contradicting info someplace else though.
  17. Ok going to have to ask JediTeo (who wrote the DCS manual) then since it might say otherwise someplace else (the docs unfortunately often contradicts itself) or it might be an error in the manual.
  18. Do you have any source on that? Because my docs says automatic switching is only disabled when in SPA, when fixtaking or ANF.
  19. Coding Stream! Part Deux A clarification: even though “Next module” wins you will not be able to tell what it is (unless I make a mistake). So if it’s only out of curiosity you would vote for that you might want to reconsider.
  20. The full story is this: Before Viggen was released there was quite many that asked if we could make it an option so that not all rockets where launched at the same time. I believe the practice rockets IRL Viggen has this feature. We implemented it and I tried it, like once, and found that it was neither very effective or fun to use the rockets this way (thats my opinion at least). So this was a popular request before users actually got their hands on the module and could try it out for themselves. I haven't really seen many use it post-release either but I might be wrong. I feel that if adding the option to drop individual bombs is a very wanted feature I might add it in, but I believe it would work even less well than the multi-shot rocket option.
  21. By (very) popular demand I’m doing another stream. Tune in at Tuesday 3 december at 19:00 to 20:00 GMT here Don’t forget to vote above for what I will be doing in the stream. Please don’t record the stream. And if you spot something that wasn’t meant to be publicly shown, keep it to yourself (but tell me!). Thank you!
