  5. Well it worked for these guys for years.... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=99293 But here would be alot different..because it is the reputation also of DCS...so no worries here so much....:music_whistling: +1+1+1...for my beloved B-17 Flying Fortress...cheers
  6. Where's Our B-17 Flying Fortress
  7. I'll second that...
  8. I am thinking the same but mine is a 27" LED TV...believe it is also a 720p...watching TV you cannot get 1080p yet..but gaming you can ..so is there a significant difference..???
  9. you also have to have some of the texture's in the temptexture folder..other than that..don't know and just wait until a skin expert helps out...
  10. never heard of any bugs on this ..I am thinking the last two to login don't have skins set right..:helpsmilie:
  11. check in mission editor that all planes have been assigned this skin of yours..and that all have the same skins in the correct folder's..
  12. E-Bay or Amazon ...
  13. Known issue..
  14. But in some ways it is..you just have real pilots in the simulation to command to area's of need..if its the right mission and tough enough with alot of surprises..:music_whistling:
  15. Hope to see you up there...
  16. From the " Virtual Tuskegee Airmen " Team, we wish everyone a " Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year " all the best in " 2013 "
  17. All kidding aside..I am sorry you have been taken...I am sure they made a good buck ..for promises... Well, time to move on as far as I am concerned..:music_whistling:
  18. I wouldn't say that you bank rolled them for years...it reminds me of a salesman selling a Widget....I saw the site and didn't bite at all...:music_whistling: PS.... I won't bother asking how much you gave for 2 years in total...
  19. Tanked? Not for Area 51 they got their money...:music_whistling:
  20. " Vapourware " aka...Vanished in a flash of idea's...a dream of many directions..
  21. +1 Yes, build your own is always better for top performance in gaming..off the shelf computers is for bookworms/accountants... Gaming/Simulations are very demanding on your system...and off the shelf are really not designed for this..so building is the best and only option..on the other hand you do/will get lucky from time to time with a off the shelf system but I wouldn't recommend it.. A good example is " Alienware " they made the best systems around for " Gaming/Simulations " until " Dell " got their hands into the mix...now you get a watered down version of the original..
  22. LOL....paying for a dream that would never be..:music_whistling:
  23. In other words " Build it they will fly..." :music_whistling: You building your system yourself is a better idea than buying off the shelf..don't touch " DELL " Reason for building yourself is you really know what is going into your system..
  24. The only thing I can add is ...in my case I don't buy off the self computer's I found a computer outlet small enough and big enough to suit my personal needs..since 1992 I have been going there and every computer I get is built to my spec's by the store staff with their added opinion on what to get or not..I find personal built computer's tend to run alittle better and smoother but that's my opinion..good luck...and open your wallet wide...:music_whistling: PS: Next Summer I am gonna build and real gamer system starting with the I7 and a 4gig video card..going to the limit...
