  1. Correct. It will be the biggest guide yet.
  2. Basically, I've added the binding as a provision in case non-catastrophic damage to the SCAS is implemented. At the moment, I've never seen individual channel failure or a single channel malfunction.
  3. F/A-18C Hornet guide updated with some corrections to the GBU-12 procedure.
  4. The html preview is updated differently and requires more time. Click on Download PDF and you'll get the latest file.
  5. Updated F-16 and F/A-18 guides to include DTC (Data Transfer Cartridge) loading procedures. The DTC creation tutorials will come at a later date when ED's tool is fully fleshed out.
  6. Forgot to add the changelog. Basically some HMCS-related fixes when it comes to employing the AIM-9X.
  7. Looks ok to me, make sure you use Google Chrome. I heard some users had issues with FIrefox.
  8. Actually, there ARE links/bookmarks to every sub-section if you open the Bookmarks tab in a pdf reader like Acrobat... for the very reason you listed null
  9. Do you guys have this error for all guides in Firefox or just some specific ones?
  10. A fee? Hell no. These guides were always free and always will be. I'm currently working on the F-4E Phantom II guide. I'm about 400 pages in, but that's a huge project to undertake. I am still a few months away from completion.
  11. Click on "Download PDF" to get the latest version. The preview html files still needs to be synced, but that will require a bit more time.

  13. I know, the previews on the website require a little bit more time to refresh. You can still download the pdfs themselves; they are up to date.

  15. Well, let's put it this way: there are multiple competing subsets of the community who all want different things. The Strike Eagle guide took a focused effort of about 9 months... which left me with a hefty backlog to address for other guides that were left behind. I don't pretend I have a perfect solution since I am severely limited in terms of resources (mainly time and availability). My immediate priority is to include the new datalink architecture implemented by ED, which means that the F-16, F/A-18 and A-10C are all in the first batch of planned updates. The Viper having the most stuff to update/fix (mainly INS and other things), I'm tackling this one first. I also want to fix some stuff on the targeting pod lasing logic for the JF-17 after a Deka update a few months back. Once these critical updates are done, I have to decide if I want to do the big AH-64 update or work on the F-4 Phantom. I cannot stress enough how badly I want to work on the Phantom straight away, but I have to think about the Apache playerbase having to potentially wait an additional 6-9 months if I go that way. I still haven't made up my mind about the best course of action. Regarding the MB339... it's a tough call. While I think it's a cool trainer and most certainly worthy of a proper guide, the demand for it is simply dwarfed by the amount of requests I have for other modules. And all that does not even take into account what I really want to work on. One last thing: I saw that many people appreciated the "quick" guide for the Phantom I did (which was mainly for start-up, takeoff and landing). I was thinking of potentially doing something similar for the OH-58, CH-47 (and hell, maybe even the MB339 while we're at it). It could be an interesting concept if people want it.
  16. Chuck's Guide to the F-15E Strike Eagle is finally available! The page count is 900+ pages. *** Link: https://chucksguides.com/aircraft/dcs/f-15e/ *** This project was a roller coaster from start to finish. Two cockpits, many heavily-integrated systems modelled to an unprecedented depth, RAZBAM-gate, a community ever-hungry for anything Eagle-related... and much more. It was a difficult endeavour to say the least, but your shared excitement to see it all come to fruition is what kept me going throughout these last months of sheer insanity. Happy reading! Chuck
  17. I'll complete the Mudhen guide, come hell or high water.
  18. Mainly... I am waiting to have any time at all to work on it...
  19. So far, this is my roadmap for the upcoming months: Will be releasing a Quick F-4E guide on Friday (start-up, takeoff and landing). After that, back to the F-15E air-to-air and IFF sections After, updates to the F-16C, F/A-18C, A-10C are planned (especially with regards to datalink) After, back to the F-15E until guide completion After, AH-64D update The F-15E guide is in an advanced state (with sensors and air-to-ground weapons being done), but the two big sections remaining are air-to-air weapons and navigation. Once those are done, the remaining sections should be relatively quick to complete.
  20. Too soon to tell. Still working on the Sensors section. I should be in a better position to have an accurate ETA once I'm done with the Weapons section.
  21. Works as intended... I couldn't remove the arrows from the pic, there's nothing mapped to those.
  22. Fantastic work! Will the charts for Normandy 2.0 be updated with the new airports? Today's patch added a few.
  23. DIdn't come off wrong at all. It's not your fault I keep biting off more than I can chew.
  24. @Legs Hard to say. I was planning on doing the update for the AH-64 once the FCR becomes available. I'm way too caught up in the Strike Eagle at the moment to start working on other guides, especially since some people were not pleased that I've spent time working on updating the L-39, German warbirds and Gazelle during the last few months. It's a tough situation to be in; whatever I choose to spend time and energy on, someone somewhere will think I should be doing something else.
  25. No update planned as far as I know since I'm not aware of any system logic being changed. Why?
