  1. I think I saw a fan demo video somewhere on youtube... does anyone remember where? Maybe a short demo vid from Belsimtek could help ;)
  2. For me the choice that would make the most sense is the A7. I always wanted to fly one in DCS and it could potentially pave the way for a Vietnam theater. ;)
  3. TT2: Compressor inlet temperature TT5: Power Turbine inlet temperature (TIT) TT7: Power Turbine exit temperature The temperature gauge visible in the cockpit is for TT7.
  4. It means that for these items I took wild guesses without any source material to confirm whether I'm spewing nonsense or not. But hey, merci mille fois, 'vieux! Eagerly waiting for your other answers.
  5. It is very much irrelevant indeed :megalol:
  6. Hi folks, I have started to write yet another guide for the Mirage and I have a dozen switches I have little to no idea of what they do. I couldn't find anything in the Dassault manual and I thought that maybe the community could help me figure out what these last few "unknown" buttons are and what they do. See attached pdf file to see where these switches are (they are in red highlighted boxes). Thanks in advance, Chuck https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-uSpZROuEd3WEwzQ1ROT1ZUYjg Note: These cockpit screenshots are placeholders taken from the FSX M2000 module.
  7. @mvsgas I grew up reading those: IMHO the Mirage is to the french what the Spitfire is to the Brits or what the F-16 is to the Americans. In many ways, the Mirage is an iconic plane that was the incarnation of aeronautical french design.
  8. I'll probably be stoned to death for saying this... but I prefer the Mirage to the F-16 by far.
  9. Umm... no. Quality should always come first.
  10. +100000000
  11. Would it be possible for Razbam to at least give us their manual so we can do our homework before release?
  12. Thanks for the heads up... I'll get it fixed asap.
  13. You know you're a DCS addict when you're actually more excited about the Mirage than the Star Wars movie release...
  14. Go there http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=135765 Download this pdf https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-uSpZROuEd3U1VZWWNBam9ZdDg Checklist starts from page 38, with pretty pictures and everything.
  15. We're always angry anyway!
  16. Insta-buy for me as well. The Tornado is a definite favourite of mine. Speaking of insta-buy, when's that beautiful gazelle coming? :D
  17. Welcome! If you're a complete noob I suggest you check these out. It might answer a lot of questions you might have. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=135765
  18. Can't wait to have multicrew with Huey and Mi-8 crews!:pilotfly:
  19. (sigh) But seriously... The F-35 is an expensive toy we just can't afford to operate. My bet would be Super Hornet.
  20. Some of the discussions in the comment sections are quite interesting. In some cases, relatives of the people featured in these videos shared juicy anecdotes :)
  21. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=135765 This thread has loads of information for complete beginners.
  22. Pretty sure it is a typo that got through the e-mail... in the official news section it's showing as a Mk IX. Fixed that for you.
  23. From the newsletter: DCS World War II continues to move forward following the release of the P-51D, Fw 190 and Bf 109. These modules have set a gold standard for simulated World War II combat aviation. We are now though in the final stages of preparing for the release of our next DCS World War II module… DCS: Spitfire Mk IX! In the tradition of our previous three warbirds, the Spitfire will embody a professional level flight model, accurate cockpit systems, highly detailed external model and cockpit, authentic sounds, detailed damage model, animations, and effects. Our engineers have created an amazing flight model based British archives of authentic wind tunnel tests.
  24. It's good to finally see a face behind the name! You guys have accomplished quite a feat with the Mi-8: you succeeded in getting me interested in Russian aviation. Impressive knowing that I'm a hopeless french/british/american aviation fan at heart ;)
