  8. Many thanks for the kind words, folks. If you have anything you want to see improved, feel free to share.
  9. Yes. I have a few updates planned before I start working on the Strike Eagle proper.
  10. Chuck's Guide to the Mirage F1 is finally available! Both the Mirage F1CE and F1EE variants are covered. The page count is 570+ pages. *** Link: https://chucksguides.com/aircraft/dcs/mirage-f1/ *** In typical canadian fashion, I feel I must once again apologize for taking so long to complete this project. This aircraft is dear to my heart, and I did not want to cut any corners, which once again expanded the scope of this document way beyond what I had originally planned. C'est la vie. The Mirage F1 is a fantastic Cold War era fighter... the second the afterburner kicks in and you start flying at treetop level at breakneck speeds, you'll understand why this widely exported aircraft was loved by its pilots. The exhilarating sense of speed is something truly special, and you will definitely see why this aircraft is easy to learn but hard to master. I hope this document will be able to bring new players up to speed quickly and garner interest for this beautiful yet deadly french "pointu". Happy reading, and bonne lecture! Chuck

  12. Still being worked on. Progress is going well. I would expect releasing it before the summer.
  13. I'm having the same issue; the initial position is always correct regardless of the option selected.
  14. Would it be possible to have the Initial Position coordinates available via the kneeboard? Most INS-equipped aircraft in DCS have a similar feature, which is quite useful to align in cases where the initial coordinates in the INS do not match the real ones.
  15. Out of curiosity where did you get that speed limit?
  16. Doesn't seem to work for me... am I missing something?
  17. I tried turning on the air-to-air refueling light on, but somehow I don't see any light. Is it implemented? Edit: Seems like there is an airspeed restriction of 375 kts to deploy the light.
  18. Could there be a mission editor option to set the map in war-time vs peace-time conditions (blackout vs night illumination)?
  19. It's a way to reference the direction of a contact/target in relationship to you (or anyone else). The "o'clock" is based on the position of needles on a watch indicating the time, but it is used to reference a direction as a quick way to know where to look. 12 o'clock would be in front, 3 o'clock to the right, 6 o'clock behind, and 9 o'clock to the left. "My 12 o'clock" means "look to the direction straight in front of ME", while "your 3 o'clock" would mean "look to the right in relationship to YOU".
  20. I did a sneaky update for the Hornet guide (6/02/2023 revision), finally including the mysterious ACLS Case III Recovery. It's a fairly complex procedure, but I tried to simplify it as much as possible compared to the ICLS tutorial. Let's learn how to do a "hands off" landing and how to make a ham sandwich while doing so. Oh, and as a side note, I also realized that some of the advice I was giving in my air-to-air refueling tutorials for the Harrier, JF-17, Hornet, F-14B and Mirage 2000 was incorrect (or, more accurately, it made the player's life more miserable than it needed to be). Hopefully, the notes in the revised documents should be more helpful.
  21. It's being worked on as we speak.
