When it will have a proper flight model, we'll see. I see no point in doing comparisons versus rail flight model aircraft. As for real life, the murder is not that intense. The 29 is at the advantage when it comes to thrust, but from what I read concerning 2000C vs polish 29s set ups, it wasn't always easy to have a winner standing out.

There are no more sensors on an F-15C than on a 2000C, and they share the same common radar modes of operation. Ordinance is indeed lacking on the C, Eagle's is more comparable to the -5s.
-
Fight against people who know how to fight then, and you'll see these true aircraft qualities. Especially since a 2000C isn't managed at all like an Eagle in combat situation.
-
So, you basically say that, if it is a 18 months old piloting a 2000 versus a full wing of 21s with experienced drivers, the 2000 will probably lose. That's not impossible, yes. But the point is : with equally experienced pilots, the 21 has close to zero chance.

Are cable arresting systems implemented on NTTR runways ? If yes, that would be interesting as well to have the possibility to install an arresting hook.

A 10 - 20 % detection range difference isn't nothing and can significantly influence the issue of an engagement.
-
Smaller IR signature, smaller visual signature, ... Which other fighters ? Frontal RCS of a 2000 is something like a 1/4th of an F-15.

A MAGIC II discarded by a couple of old gen flares.. A R-60 (rear aspect.. at best limited all aspect..) hitting from front aspect at minimum range..

+1.. I'm sorry but the 21's handling is in no way comparable the the 2000's. Some are forgetting that the 2000 is equipped with highly capable fly by wire software, in addition to control surface that significantly improve agility that the MiG lacks (strakes, leading edge flaps). Watching a Mirage 2000 solo display should be sufficiently convincing on the matter. Do you see a MiG performing the same display ? I do not..

Well the difference is a little more subtle than that. First you have to distinguish (1) the early -5s variants, including : - domestic (-5F), - variants (-5EDA, -5Ei) They all share the same RDY radar, but the -5F attack and navigation system doesn't support any air-to-ground modes ; the export ones feature modified EWS, noticeable by the different RWR antennas (two additional superhet on the fin) Then comes the late -5 family, all export, also called "Mk2" : - emirati (-9EAD) - greek (-5EG) - indian (I) Some difference exist between those concerning some subsystems (EWS, integrated weaponry..) but the main feature they share is the new EMTI (MDPU in english), i.e Integrated Modular Avionics, and they are all A/G capable. The I features some further enhancement and is fitted with RDY-3 versus RDY-2 for the two former (better processing power, etc.).

Not betting a single buck on Viggen or Gripen versus the -9.

Target point is determined via INS coordinates or visual targeting from the HUD. A bank steering cue directs you towards the release point. Release occurs when the drop cue reaches the FPM level. A-10 will be able to lase your bombs only if the laser code match. On the 2000 side, GBU release happens just like a CCRP dumb bomb release, on coordinates sent by the A-10. Once in flight, the GBU shall track the A-10's laser. Cockpit is in imperial. As for radar, it depends on which one you evaluate. Considering N001, APG-70 and M-scan APG-63 versus RDI, they are roughly equivalent in term of capability. The N001 may lack some features such as NCTR or may lag behind the others when it comes to ECCM, while RDI's drawback is the lack of radiated power.

There is indeed an upgraded VTB (HDD) capable of displaying moving map, but it is in service on 2000EGM (HAF) only (and maybe some other export.. IAF 2000H ?).

CC420 gun pods for 2000D are integrated, they have yet to be deployed and employed en-masse by operational units.

Counterparts are R-73 & AIM-9M. Heard various comments stating the MAG II was superior to the 9M, especially thanks to its seeker, but no details (and you won't find much more). Derived, at the beginning of the development. Many elements of the SNA are deeply different, if not completely new.

Not really a day/night thing (not only) - it depends on a ton of atmospheric parameters I couldn't be able to quote. Day AB plume can go purple/blue-ish (although rather rare) and night plume can be very yellow/orange (more frequent than blue plume actually). It's more or less the same for all ABs.

RAZBAM's 2000C is essentially a conversion of M2M's original aircraft for FSX/P3D.
-
Anyone knows how deep the AP has been developed by RAZBAM (i.e AP-transparency piloting, autopilot-linked trim inputs, etc) ?

MICA IR is LOAL capable. Fired first on a datalink, radar (with midcourse update) or intertial course, then acquires the target with its IIR sensor on terminal course. AIM-9X Block II is also LOAL capable, as well as ASRAAM (the latter lacks datalink which kinda negates the LOAL advantages).
-
AIM-120A with rather poor kinematics. The RDI/530D duo is a strong counterpart. And by the way, MLU Vipers were introduced not before mid 90s, They lacked BVR capability before that.

M-2000C for DCS World by RAZBAM - Available for Pre-Purchase

Speaking about the FM. BMS Mirage's has been deeply reworked and approaches the real deal in many aspects. -

Can't wait to compare their EFM with BMS'. -
That would be the Mirage 4000, basically a double 2000. Rafale is a relatively small and light aircraft (but not harmless :) ).
-
Yup, my bad, edited :) So, for 20$, I can get the Mustang which is currently sold apart at 39$? Interesting...

I doubt that RRG is selling DCS's planes. Therefore I don't think they are included in the $20-$40 pledges which IMO concern RRG flyable planes only..
