I’am already ask ED about plan or roadmap, see their answer.

Sorry but 4 years after initial release, with end of EA planned in 2021, with no roadmap for hornet, with only very small team on dev, with no update or video from wags since many month, it is impossible to be more patient.

Same for me, ED will not have any interest to finish quickly the hornet because no more players will buy it. Due to this, i will not buy any module from ED too.

No one can answer that question but ED themselves. It is still very unclear how the final version of the DCS Hornet will compare to the real thing. I know the answer of ED « when we have new, we will share it » or « EA take time, be patient » or « if you are not happy with EA, don’t buy it and wait » No more

In newsletter « In the Development Screenshot above, you can see the pilot's legs and boots, the model is rendered based off of accurately dated US uniforms and we genuinely appreciate your feedback at this early stage of development. » Difficult to sent feedback because I don’t look my foot when I flying (and it’ is difficult to see that in the hornet cockpit). Why ED work on model we can’t see ?

No roadmap = no plan surprising but you are the project manager (who works without a plan). Good luck for the future.

Hi, we know that work take time and all players are not project manager themselves. But, like many of other video game, ED have to make roadmap ? Without this, i got the impression that there was any plan or only short view plan. Perhaps it will be a good to share the roadmap even it change often ? thanks.

So i understand that you don’t know when this « briefing room » feature will be ready for players ? It’s only a screenshot to calm the players ?

it's sad. In addition ed is not able to publish a roadmap as what the plan is not reliable (if there is one…)

Totaly agree with you Perhaps ED will answer to your simply last question….unless this feature presented in the last newsletter is at the beginning of development….(remember hornet datacard)

Hornet is still in EA since mid-2018. We can celebrate his 4 years EA birthday in few month !

But the plane is not finished ! Normaly, you move your team when all the work is done. We don’t have any update since many month, we still wainting many features teased many years ago (ex : datacard, acls, test page, etc…). And now we have many bug, check hornet bug post and you will understand (like aa tacan , it’a shame to let this bug on stable version). About EA, you risk losing the trust of players who will no longer buy your productions. But that's just my opinion, no one knows how the future will be but I think you're making a mistake by doing too much long EA.

I hope so but I think we will be disappointed. When is this feature expected to be released?

According to the last newsletter, ED want to make tablet simulator instead to make night deck crew….

I still not understand why ED not finish hornet before to move the team to viper. the end of EA could have shown the consideration of the players. I think that they prefers profit above all. but I'm afraid it will backfire. Because even the most faithful will be fed up about it. That's why I won't buy any more EA signed by ED. I've been playing dcs for more than 10 years, and I can't stand this way of doing things anymore

Can you provide your best estimate of the end of EA of this product : - hornet - viper - supercarrier - A10C nr2 - mi24 Or when do you expect to finish any product ?

Hi ED, Announced in 2019, planned for early access in 2020. It's 2022 now, is there a progress update on this feature? thanks

I am not sarcastic but realistic. You always said that if players wanted to enjoy the best version of the game with fewer bugs, they should play on the stable version. It was therefore forbidden to complain if players played on the beta because it was normal to have issues on it. But now the stable is as much or even more buggy than the beta…. I love this game but I'm not a fanboy, I prefer to say the things that bother me than to constantly say « shut up and take my money ». I am therefore critical to make you give my feelings but in fact you have nothing to do with it. Might as well close this official forum and it's useless to have a contrary opinion.

Yes but any CM can answer it. Perhaps @NineLine or @BIGNEWY will close this topic because it's easier to do that than to say they made a mistake it could be their answer.

When or which year we can expect this New flir sensor in hornet ? I just said that because 2 or 3 year ago in a newsletter, you write about datacard in f18 but we are still waiting it….

I don't know if ED will one day understand that making EAs without finishing them after 3 to 4 years (minimum) will give them a very bad reputation and players won't buy anything anymore!!

Perhaps you make too many ea and you have never enough Time to finish them in less than 3 or 4 years.

Yes but why you push this tacan bug on stable version ? this bug was here on closed and open bêta before…..

Very disappointing. I don’t unterstand why this bug have not been fixed, it’is essentialy for the game.
