I'm very glad to didn't buy it. As I don’t expect it, I am not disappointed! Since the hornet, which is still not finished, I no longer buy any EA.

We don’t have any hornet mini update post since nearly two month. This EA is over ? Many people have already bought hornet so ED don’t need to finish it ? All dev are on the viper ?

Definitively for me, i am waiting news about : - end of EA for the hornet - functionality of incoming dynamic campaign - plan about vulkan implementation or vr optimization

ED never made precise roadmap for his module. Look the hornet post, no roadmap after 2020…..and module is still in ea p

I can understand that flight model is very different between apache and kiowa. But, we can fly with uh1, it’s difficult too. So if kiowa is only scout/reconnaissance helicopter, it will not very useful in dcs because apache can make reconnaissance and attack mission. But i think we will never see kiowa in dcs, so it will be not a problem.

spitfire is ww2 plane and f16 is a modern fighter, A10 is CAS role and F18c is multi role (wha can Land on carrier). So you cannot compare them. kiowa and apache are two attack modern hélicopter. But can you be more precise about different task between this two helo ? You said largely but no exemple…. i will be happy to read this

Nope. In all feature, apache is better so why players will buy this kiowa while it is less well ? But i am curious to know in which mission, in dcs, kiowa will be better than ah 64 ?

I think that the kiowa project is over. AH 64 is better that kiowa, so anyone will buy it.

Yes you’re right but it is not new. ED made only EA and it will very very long to finish it. Hornet, viper, SC….. are still in EA since many month (or year). And it will be the same plan for apache/hind….

Thanks for you sincerity. For sure, for future modules, i will buy only when they are out of EA. I hope that hornet will be finish not too mate this year, thanks to ed team for the job.

Hi, In the next weeks, we will see many EA coming in dcs world (mariana, hind, ah64), but hornet is still in EA since 2 years. Last year, ED planed the end of EA to fall of 2020. But now, despite many features added since the start of 2021, we only know that it’will be soon….ED what is your estimate to finish the hornet ? Thanks.

it is very surprising that polychop has not communicated anything for months on the project. In my opinion, there must be a problem with Bell and the commercial contract. I'm afraid the kiowa will never come out, it's sad.

Not surprisingly, ED never made good estimates, there was always a delay (remember ex hormuz map and new atc...) Do not wait 2.7 on the stable version before the end of summer.

Don't expect an answer about F18c development from ED. History shows us that they are incapable of following a road map or even making one. That's probably why they prefers to ignore us ...

I see that nothing has changed ... development and communication are still chaotic. So I'm not going to reconnect my joystick now!
