My BS1 was originally purchased on stream but it was changed over stand alone, and upgraded by ED to BS2. Also steam clearly states " This content requires the base game DCS World Steam Edition on Steam in order to play.", which I do not use.

Same here. Bought BS1 on steam then switched. Upgraded to BS2 in 2012 and I'm not given the option for BS3 upgrade, just the full price. I'm also logged in and have never been gifted.

Hi Bailey, Many thanks for the profile and the hard work you have put in. I tried to do one but it was no where near the standard that you have done. I have a problem though. Every two seconds the Communications menu pops open with no interaction from me. I have checked all my binds and they are as the guide you supplied. It is as if every two seconds I press the '\' key. After two seconds or so it just closes its self. Any ideas? Regards, Mav.

ED if you are using Denuvo then this will be the last module I buy. I for one do not want anything on my computer that I do not need. I felt it was sneaky to impose this after I had prepaid for the Harrier and I request to know who's protection system you are using. There was nothing wrong with the old system that I'm aware of and that was linked to your account. DRM only hurts people who legitimately buy products. I would agree as others have mentioned. I would like to have seen remove this DRM option.

I don't want to harp on about this {too late} but under the pre-order it stated "you only need to have the "Stable" version DCS World 1.5 installed". I was expecting to fly on the stable version. There never was any mention of needing a beta version. Even when BIGNEWY told us "No point guessing, I have been testing both versions, wait for Wednesday" no mention of beta 1.5.8. This has been poorly communicated I feel and i might be wrong but RAZBAM would have known this prior to puring up the pre-order so why was this not communicated?

I pre ordered on this statement "If the product description does not have information about which DCS World version you should install, you only need to have the "Stable" version DCS World 1.5 installed on your PC." and given that there is no specific 2.x or 1.5.x in the description or recommendations then it should be released on 1.5.x. Otherwise I only have the stable build so when will the harrier be released on the stable build?

I know what you are saying but a delay until 2018 is more than a week and at most almost a year potentially. I'm glad that miscommunication has been cleared up.

Hi, I have tried to edit the short cut but I cannot get this to work. I assumed it would look like this:- "D:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe" force_disable_VR but clearly I'm doing something wrong. Can someone put me straight? Cheers, Mav.

HI, I would love to have a F-15E as I love flying the F-15C. I was thinking that it would require a fair amount of work from the Dev's but given that the F-15C would have laid the ground work for the Strike Eagle already would it be too difficult to convert it to the F-15E? Mav.

I may have misunderstood what EtherealN said. It sounded like BS2 is an update for BS1 and you did not need a key if you had BS1 installed on steam as BS2 would recognise this. So my question is, is BS2 an update to BS1 or do you have to pay for it. Mav

Hi there, I have done this as suggested but I keep getting asked for an activation key. I do have BS1 intalled on my computer through steam but the update does not appear to recognise it. Should I have installed the update into the same folder as BS1 overwriting the files as I installed it into a seprate folder? Regards, Mav
