  1. 2 options left for you, the dirty registry hack (last option) or checking the windows event viewer for a fault log and taking it for this point.
  2. Hi crazyeddie Just my 2 cent , far as i remember the GT 330M is a DX 10 card. Best thing to do is check the supported feature level of your GPU in the Nvidia control panle under system info. DCSW 1.2.x is the DX 9 version of this sim , since 1.5 a new Engine is used for the render (DX11). There is a way of getting the Nv Kernel driver to stop of stopping working , but it req. a manual edit of your registry wich may cause more problems down the road.
  3. Maybe you are opening the throttle too fast . Keep in mind it's a 1st gen jetengine , no electronics to control the fuelflow. If you open the throttle too fast you are flooding the engine with fuel, check the EGT if 1000C + and N1 70% max , engine is flooded.
  4. I don't need the tshirt or a printed manual , but i like to have the "alpha" early access to the Aircraft's and map . Even if i have to sign a NDA.
  5. Thanks Azrayn this sorted my problem . But i haven't LotAtc it was a SQN internal mod .
  6. It's still working most of the time . Just quit out of DCS and close TIR Software and restart TIR Software and DCS.
  7. I have the same problem. After a look into my WinEventlog i found following Log Faulting application name: Launcher.exe_DCS, version: 1.2.7.23097, time stamp: 0x52b97dcf Faulting module name: DXRenderer.dll, version: 1.2.7.23097, time stamp: 0x52b97863 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0000000000024c8b Faulting process id: 0x1f2c Faulting application start time: 0x01cf194a2857df9b Faulting application path: D:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\Launcher.exe Faulting module path: D:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DXRenderer.dll Report Id: 6c98617c-853d-11e3-970c-c86000c29f59 Done a uninstall and reinstalled 1.2.6 without the Moduls and run the update . Same in green.
  8. Maverick you want trackfiles from the clients
  9. BigBadVuk check the windows eventlog's you will find more info about the cause of the crash there then in the dcs crashlog .
  10. I don't think so . Done a quick search on google an fund this link http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/when-launching-application-receive-error-0x000007b/ec09e092-d85a-4e91-a7f1-adb4c7ede7fd . You may have a read of this. Looks like you're haveing more trouble the think.
  11. Did you take the time delay of x ms in acount between DCS output -> input into the io board and the output to the servo?
  12. You have to download the BS2 Upgrade version for dcsw and have BS1 installed before you try to install BS2 . If you have BS2 Standalone installed you need to reinstalled as Dcsw Module and i din't had to enter the key at all http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/modules/dcs_black_shark_2_upgrade/

  14. Metal Hawk I think we leave the Money bit behind us , its only a wast of your and my time, but if you need that sorted out PM me. As you say Freetrack is open source and ED only release a API , changing a few lines of code sounds simple but it's far away form simple .Changing one line on a complex code causes more problems down the road , one bug is fixed and ten new bugs pop up . A API is only a interface for I/O between Software to Software or/and Hardware to Software. The Devs of Freetrack have may a older version of the API but due to changes in the OS it may doesn't work any more. If a APP try's to write in to the mem at one register in Win XP or Vista it works ,but in W7 and W8 this part of mem is may reserved for a other process you will get a error. The person was tasked with the API is may not more working in ED or has other tasks by now.So it's really down to the boys / girls programming freetrack to find the problem and fix it.
  15. Metal Hawk nobody is saying you have to spend 2/3 of your income , but you can try to save a few euro per month. Sure it wasn't made to jump on it. But back to your problem. The last update on Freetrack was made 1 year before windows 7 was release. It was maybe working with Vista, but Vista and W7 are like day and night. Them 2 os are totaly diffrent under the hood .Just looked at the list of supported Games/Sims not a word about DCS . The only up to date version i can find is FreetrackNoIr. and that's writen in Delhpi 7 (somewhat outdated) and thats the main problem. So you may contact the Devs of Freetrack and see if they have a fix for your problem. I think ED is too busy with thier own stuff and has no time to fix 3rd party problems.
  16. Yep AMD/ATI has a problem with DX 9 since the HD5000 . you're not alone
  17. Nope , Yes i have a trackir 5 and it was only 200 euros and i'm sure you pick one up on ebay for less. The real probelm is that some programs are only running rigth with one version of the MS C++ Runtimes and the combo DCS and freetrack may has this probelm. The only simpel way to find out is a reinstall of the os or you take the painful way of deinstalling bit by bit the C++ runtime and find out that 90 % of your programs are not working after. BTW I done once the hard way. never again.
  18. Now you have fund your problem . Dump freetrack and buy a trackir then it will work after a clean OS install.
  19. No it's your C++ runtime download the newest version http://www.microsoft.com/en-ie/download/details.aspx?id=40784 and also Dx9 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 and reinstall the 2 of them.
